Art Impressions

The feature rubber stamp design/mfg. of the week is Art Impressions!

Art Impressions got their start by selling educational stamps in the mid-eighties so they've been at it for a while now. Art Impressions is the creative brain child of owner/artist/designer Bonnie Krebs. Perfecting her trade over twenty years she is one of the major stamp illustrators and designers in the rubber stamping industry today. Bonnie prefers not to look at other companies latest stamps to keep her own images original and fresh which is evident in Art Impressions latest lines A Winning Hand and In the Cards - Spring 2008. Both unique lines like you haven't seen before.

Art Impressions offers up stamps made from gray rubber, maple wood-mounted rubber stamps, unmounted gray rubber, unmounted on permanent peel-and-stick adhesive cushion and clear sets of unmounted photo polymer stamps. A great variety, certainly something for everyone.

The variety of stamps offered by Bonnie & Art Impressions is mind boggling. You will find stamps from their most popular line...Watercolor the Art Impressions Way which has spawned 4 How-To books, 5 smaller Project Series and a DVD. It's popularity has grown worldwide!!

Besides the amazing Watercolor collection you will find other great loved lines such as Timeless Classics - a wonderful brush stroke look which includes everything from holidays, words & sayings to exotic travel impressions to something for the man in your life. Golden Oldies another fan favorite with amusing characters to add a giggle to your projects. Just a few of the folks you will find there are Agnes & her large decorative hat, Oscar & his fuzzy slippers and the Hatta Girls and lots of clever sayings to go along with each of them.

Some of my favorites include the Glamour in the City line particularly Elegant Lady, Afternoon Tea and Little Shoppers. If you know me you'll understand why this next line caught my attention...that would be the Zoo! I especially love the sketched wild animals - giraffe, lion, & elephant to name a few. There are just so many more stamps to talk about but I'll save those and let you discover your favorites on your own!

Art Impressions is an Angel Company and can send a very simple Permission Letter, either electronically or by snail mail to you upon request. They do ask that your work not be mechanically reproduced or hand-produced in mass quantities.

AI does sell to hundreds of small stamp and scrap booking stores all over the world, however, they are not in any huge chains right now. But if you're like me and not lucky enough to live down the block from a LSS, they do have an on-line store - Art Impressions.

When ordering on-line you can use Visa, MC, Discover and Am Ex. Also Pay Pal is an option. You can send a check or money order, however, the order will not be shipped until the check arrives. Art Impressions DOES ship internationally quite often and their overseas customers seemed to be very pleased with the rates.

Pauline at AI also wants you to know that..."We have specials all the time offering free stamps and other fun stuff. You can sign up for our newsletter and you'll be notified as to what these are, but they are also on the Home Page. And we have a monthly Card Contest where you can when coupons to spend on-line. Our catalog is HUGE and is only $10.00, but comes with a $10.00 coupon to use on your first order of $40.00 or more...so it works out to be FREE!! We pride ourselves on our Customer Service and are here to help."

For more information you can contact Pauline at pauline@artimpressions.com for website and general questions about Art Impressions, Elisabeth at 800-393-2014 for questions about an existing order or to place an order by phone and Rose Mary rosemary@artimpressions.com about design and techniques relating to AI stamps.

So there you go...another amazing place to go explore and enjoy!! I hope you have as much fun discovering all of the unique and special images that Art Impressions offers. If you have time, let us all know which ones are your favorites :)

Till next time Friends....
Happy Stamping!!
