Bear Family Outing

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

Another fun new stamp set from the most recent Fairy Hugs release - Beary Family. I love making tags and these giant size #10 size tags are wonderful to work with. Measuring 4 x 8" they make a great foundation for a slimline card.  I have stamped the bears using a few different colors of brown to give them each their own personality. The tree and tree stump were stamped with black and all were embossed with clear embossing powder. I then stamped the Hanging Vines upside down and turned them into flowers by adding Currant and Grape Fairy Hugs Powder glitter.  I also added a bit of Parakeet FHP glitter to the hills for a bit more added sparkle.

Peaceful Moose Sunset

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I am so excited that the newest release of Fairy Hugs Stamps has included animals!! The Moose Set is my favorite - I love moose.  I thought it would be fun to make a little scene with the moose wading across a creek and here it is.  I started off by masking off the center of my card panel (where the water is) and inked the creek sides and far off in the distance with green inks. Next I applied some inks to create the sunset sky. Once the background was inked up I started stamping. I added the Skinny Bare Tree, Snowy Fir and Bulrushes. I then stamped the moose in the water and embossed him.   After he cooled off I added various colors to the creek followed by white paint pen and Pixie Dust Fairy Hugs Powder glitter to add some sparkle.

Make A Wish...Fairy Hugs Wishing Well

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

The background was created by rolling yellow ink onto a gel plate then sprinkling with a variety of watered down Brusho pigment powders. I then placed a piece of Bristol cardstock over the plate and smooshed it down with my hand.

I then stamped and embossed the Wishing Well and Black Thistles with VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.  The bucket was stamped using Pinecone VFC ink and embossed as well.

I added a bit of sparkle by creating grass with Fairy Hugs Powder - Shamrock and tiny flowers with Plum. I also added Arctic FHP to the bucket and wishing well.

Zakar's Moonlight Stroll

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

Zakar is one of the newly release stamps and isn't he such fun! I love his elaborate wing span don't you?  I decided he would look great at sunset in this foreign land.  I stamped Zakar and the Birch Trees then embossed with Clear Sparkle embossing powder. The Black Thistles were then stamped and left unembossed because I wanted them to take a back seat to the dragon in his element.

Happy Valentine's Day Friends!

Hello Friends...just a couple of Valentine's Day cards for you...both using Rinea Foiled Papers and the Sizzix Layered Rose die. This die is very intricate and a bit time consuming but the results are oh so amazing!!!

I used a variety of colors for the first card just to see what switching up the colors look like.

Both of the roses on these cards were made using both the Glossy and Starstruck foiled papers of each color. It's hard to tell from the photo but the difference between the two even though they are the same color really make a difference. This is such a fun die, I'll be sharing a couple more cards soon :)

Till then...

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!

The Sound of Love Gnome Style!

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I wanted to share this fun Valentine's Day card with you as the day is quickly approaching.

I created this slimline card by stamping the Musical Walkway off to the left of the card panel. I then cut away the G-cleft and stamped the musical notes a second time next to the first to create a continuous line of music. Don't worry cutting the stamp, the G-cleft can be fit alongside the musical notes to create a seamless image once again.

Next I stamped Bilman, Corwain and Wilwin so it looked like they were walking on the musical notes. All of these images were then embossed to give them a lovely shine.

I finished off the card by adding loads of hearts cut from scraps of Ruby foiled paper by Rinea.

Moon Phases Slimline Card

Today I wanted to share my latest Fairy Hugs creation...

I knew when I saw the Full Moons stamp set I had to make a Moon Phase slimline card!  I used silver tone metallic paper to stamp on with blue metallic paper for the background. It really is quite stunning in person.

To create this card I stamped and embossed the largest moon once and left it whole. I then stamped and embossed the smaller moon 4 times and cut them as you see here. This idea works perfectly for the popular slimline cards but could also be adjusted to fit other size cards and even in scrapbooks.
