Happy Easter Banner

Well, today I have a banner I made using the current digi stamp challenge over at Gecko Galz....

I printed 18 of the eggs but ended up using just 15 of them.
Each egg was colored with markers, colored pencils and posca pens.
I then used die-cut letters to spell out the sentiment.

Aloha! Quick & Easy Banner using Rinea Foiled Papers

Aloha Friends!!

I wanted to share a quick and easy die-cut banner for a fun summer greeting to all your guests.
I don't know about you but I love to change up my door decor to fit the seasons/holidays. I wanted to come up with something bright and eye catching for summer and this is what I came up with!

I used a flamingo die - Cottage Cuts,  a pineapple die from Gina Marie and a set of banner dies from XCut/DoCrafts plus all the lovely foiled papers from Rinea. These papers are simply amazing. You know how I love shimmer and shine well these foiled papers have that in spades.

This banner is so easy to make, simply cut, glue and add it to the twine. Cutting all of the parts and pieces is what takes the most time but it's well worth it once you put the banner together.

Hoppy Spring Banner

Hello Friends!  I don't know about you but this month has flown by so far...I don't know where the time has gone.

Today I wanted to share a fun little bunny banner I made using Rinea Foiled Papers.

HOPPY SPRING!!

I just love how this banner turned out. It is going to be hanging on my door to welcome in Spring.  It was very easy to make.  For all the details check out "Hoppy Spring Bunny Banner" on the Rinea blog.

I love combining the glossy and Startstruck foiled papers in a project. The contrast between the two is very striking.  I used the Pastel Variety Pack for this creation along with Ebony/Gold Glossy foiled paper which I used for the letters.

It is a dream to die-cut but it is just as easy to hand cut as I did with the bunnies!

Hop you are inspired to create one of your own!
(see how I did that....hop...get it?)

Have a great day friends!!

Sunflower & Watermelon...Welcome in Summer!!

I am so excited to welcome in summer with my project today but I am also excited because this is my first official post for the Rinea Design Team!  I think you're going to love this foiled paper!

And here it is....my Welcome Summer Banner!!  I die-cut both the inside and scalloped outside banner pieces then adhered them together. All of the components for the watermelons and sunflowers were then cut using sizzix dies and assembled accordingly. The letters were die cut from the Ebony/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper using an alphabet die set from My Favorite Things.

All of the individual pieces were then glued to the individual banners and left to dry.  Once the glue had dried a hole was punched at each corner of the top of each banner and threaded onto a green/gold ribbon from May Arts.

For complete instructions please see: Welcome Summer Banner by Roni
So easy yet a stunning piece sure to draw oohs and aaahs from your guests this summer!

This month Rinea introduced the new Misfits Variety Pack...a mystery collection filled with both glossy and starstruck foiled papers in a variety of colors. A fun pack to get a taste of just how handy Rinea foiled paper is.

Another fun brand new variety pack is the Magical Foiled Paper Variety Pack! Perfect for all those Disney projects you've been putting off making!  Wait no more - these lovely foiled papers are reason enough to get them done!  I'll have a project to share with you later this month using this collection ;)

Rinea Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack
Rinea also released the Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack! A lovely collection of the ole' red, white and blue! A perfect choice to show off your patriotism on cards, in scrapbooks, home decor, mixed media and more!!  Unlike the first two new variety packs, the Patriotic Foiled Paper Variety Pack is available for a limited time only. Once it's gone it won't be available again this year!!! I so can't wait to share the project I made using this collection!!
