Half A Million Visits!! HUGE GIVE-A-WAY!!!

Woo Hooo!!!

Last night shortly after midnight Ink Stains had it's 500,000th visitor!!!
Not bad for being in existence for only a little under 3 1/2 years.

  6. Congrats Roni! I would have to say that distress inking and alcohol inking are pretty close favorites in my book. I love them both. HOWEVER since finding your blog I have just fallen in love with so many other ways of using my inks. Ways I would not imagine! Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us.   16. WOW - what an amazing giveaway! My favorite inking technique is to cover the surface with Distress Ink and then spritz it with water. The result is so soft and pretty and makes the perfect background.

  30. Congratulations!!! What an accomplishment. My favorite inking technique uses a craft mat and swiping ink onto the sheet, then misting with water followed by taking your cardstock, tag etc and gathering the ink onto it. The results are always different.

  40. I like rubbing differnet color inks on a craft mat and then spritzing with water and then smooching your tag, card, atc around in it. So easy yet so pretty. I'm a follower.

  41. I love working with the Ranger Color Wash Sprays a lot coloring white paper. I do layers and I use stencils to make backgrounds and designs. I could spend all day doing this all the time. Each page comes out different. And I also make up Distress Reinker Sprays with Perfect Pearls to use too to decorate papers.

  116. I love using my blending tool and my Distress Inks with the DTP method. There are so many variations with dripping water, Gesso etc that it just blows me away. A tried and trusted background method.

  123. Hi Roni, and congratulations on that huge number! I love Ink, I buy stamps, not shoes!! I use my stamping as layers, under, in between and lettering. I also like to add to the stamped image, by adding watercolour or as I have just discovered, metallic Neocolors. I do have favourite stamps, right now it is fish! -and feathers.   124. I love a technique I learned in a mini ranger U class I took at a local scrap store. It was called distress enamalled rust and it worked so well with Tim's old fashioned car stamp.

  158. My fave inking technique is the use of the craft mat and misters. You wipe the ink pads on the craft mat and then spritz the ink with a mister filled with water. Then swipe your paper into the wet ink, dry with a heat tool and repeat I go back to this technique often, it's so artsy!

    I am a new Follower, my first time visitng.
    For me, as I love vintage it has to be using inks to create an aged look. I use make-up sponges to ink edges after I've abraded them the edges with scissors. My most used inks are DI inks becasue they are fabulous for this look. Simple and probably quite boring to read LOL.
    Amazing prize.

    My fav ink technique of late is one I learned from Tim:
    To ink the inside of an embossing folder before embossing the paper. Kinda creates a letterpress affect.
