Well, you know how much I love watercoloring and DRS stamps so I decided to give it a go! I actually made 2 cards - I couldn't decide which I liked better. Which do you prefer?
DRS - Garden Doorway
This image was stamped with Memento Dye Ink then watercolored with InkTense watercolor pencils.
DRS - Wishing Well
This card was also stamped using Memento Dye Ink but I colored it with my Staedtler watercolor pencils. It doesn't really show in the photo but the wishing well is actually pop-dotted off the background away from the frame.
So, which do you like better?
Be sure to vote because I have 4 fun brand new Deep Red Stamps for one lucky Ink Stained Friend that casts a vote for their favorite design!
You have until March 19th to vote for your fav.!
Remember - Be sure to enter the DRS Spring/Watercolor Challenge TOO!!
Good Luck Everyone
and
Have an Ink Stained weekend!
Hi Roni. I like the garden gate the best. Maybe because of all the shadows. thanks as always for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful Roni but I love the wishing well because you don't see many of them any more Karen x
ReplyDeletewow, the garden door is so detailed! that gets my vote.
ReplyDeleteThe Garden Doorway is my favorite! Beautiful image!
ReplyDeleteThe Garden Gate is my favorite and it shows more of your beautiful coloring skills.
ReplyDeletemy fav "Garden Doorway". Beauty
ReplyDeleteWell, both images are equally beautiful, but I think the patterned paper base on the Garden Doorway card makes it more Springlike and it's my choice out of the two cards. I think it would make a great St. Patrick's Day card. TFS Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely, and having to choose my favorite, I like the door! Good luck with the challenge! Jackie ")
ReplyDeleteBoth are Beautiful!!Love the garden door, coloring is awesome!!Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to join the majority...the garden doorway. It shows off more of your coloring skills! Like the other one too, but since you said we had to choose.........
ReplyDeleteIf I just look at the "painting," I honestly can't choose - they are equally beautiful. But the background paper on the Garden Door card really sets that one off, so that's my vote!
ReplyDeleteI like both cards really well. My fave is the wishing well. It reminds me of the old days on my aunt's farm. The water was always cool and refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI think the garden door is my favourite. I love how you coloured the wishing well, it really stands out, but the garden door looks very inviting Like it is hiding a magical fun place. Hugz
ReplyDeleteLove them both, but if I must choose one...the well. Makes me think about wishes!
