  1. Very extensive list...thanks!

I have heard a ton about the Nick Bantock inks... I don't have any access to them here to "try out"... could you tell me how they are similar/different than other dye inks?

I hesitate to start a whole new collection of inks as I have hundreds already... but I hear they are woderful.

  2. Ohhh - Love the Nick Bantock Inks. In my opinion the major (and only real) difference between NB inks and other inks are the colors. They are not what you'd usually find in inks and are so intense. They really make a project POP... I'll be working with them shortly so I'll be able to show you what I mean :)

Think of it this way...there are only 12 colors in his collection so it won't be THAT much ink - tee hee hee!!!

  4. Yes - let me add another comment about the Nick Bantock inks if I may. They are just stunning - rich, vivid and gorgeous. There is a blue that is unlike any other blue I've seen and I am just in love with it. All of Ranger's products are top quality, so I agree with Roni in that the difference for me too is in the colors. Just different from the Adirondacks.

Probably my favorite thing to do with the Nick Bantock inks are to use the re-inkers. I like to add a couple drops to a pool of Diamond Glaze (or similar) and paint with it. The color is just stunning and almost leaps off the page and bites you in the nose. LOL

OK - I got so excited talking about this that I had to go and look for my favorites. Cerulean Azure, Vermillion Laq. and Rose Madder are my favorites and, in my opinion, are the ones most UNlike the Adirondack colors.

Just my $.02, but I hope that helps, colleen!
