Smeared & Smudged
31 Days of Halloween
Day 15
You say I'm a Witch Like it's a Bad Thing????
Today I wanted to play with my Distress Paints and a giant puzzle piece and this is the result!! The puzzle piece had a glossy finish so I just painted right over the top. I just added color here and there then spritzed with LOTS of water. I held the puzzle piece and tilted it this way and that letting the paints mix and glide over the surface ~ at the same time I was drying it with my heat tool. It turned out pretty cool I think. I then stamped it with lots of different stamps as you can see.
Stamp Credits: Harlequin background - Deep Red Stamps - Stampers Best; everything else - Graphic 45
Other: Distress Paints - Ranger
Collage Images - Altered Pages
Faux Gems & Broom - My Stash
As promised... a give-a-way!!
I have a set of the 4 Distress Paints I used on this collage to share with one lucky reader.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite Halloween Sweet is more of a chocolate, namely those little foil wrapped chocolates in a netted bag that you can get; I don't know why, but they all just taste yummy!
Happy Halloween!
haha, a wonderful, brilliant puzzle piece! My favorite halloween candy is a mixture of wine gum and something similar to marshmallows, shaped as vampire fangs. I know, sounds strange, but it's ... yummy! *gg* (you can find it on my blog searching for "terribly tasty") Unfortunately you can get it only on halloween around here.

(In lieue of a Haloween story:) One year Chanuka my then-toddler-aged niece burst into hysterical tears, the kind where she's trying to warn us that the world is coming to an end. when we calmed her down we figured out that she thought on chanuka one was obligated to have a doughnut a day throughout the 8 day holiday and she was now panicking for the survival of the holiday as she had not had a donut that day

Favorite candy, the Brach's Autumn Mix, with pumpkins & candy corn.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid, I used to nibble the corn to make them look more like stick legs, and bite off the top of the pumpkin. Then stuff the corn into the opening of the pumpkin like someone fell into the pumpkin, my very own Franken-Candy!
I guess I would pick Reese's Pieces for my favorite. : )
ReplyDeletemine is candy corn mixed with peanuts, my favorite fall treat.
