Most of you probably don't remember but when Ink Stains was first started I had a feature every week or so that would highlight various rubber stamping retailers, stamp designers and/or collage & ephemera suppliers. I suspended it when I was working on Ranger's Design Team then came the book and all it entailed so I haven't had the time to work on it since.
WELL I've been contacting various companies, getting things lined up and the return of the Rubber Stamp Retailer feature will debut THIS WEEK!!!!
Wooo Hoooo!!!
Now if you're not familiar with the past features you can go back and check them out here...Rubber Stamp Retailers. The early features were just short blurbs about interesting places I found here and there. It then evolved into more in depth Q&A type thing (which is what the new ones will be) up till more recently when it was basically just highlights of various sales & new product highlights or links.
I have already rec'd many of the questionnaires back so I've got several weeks of featured sites lined up!
If you've got a favorite old or new stamp company or fun retailer that you'd like to see featured please feel free to e-mail me the info or have the company get in touch with me personally. Either way I'll work to make sure they are featured here at some point.
AND
I'm going to be testing a new idea out...templates! I'm thinkin' something like shape cards or makeables (you know like nifty folded boxes, handy little gifts, etc.). I'll post the template (or a link to the template) and show you and example or two on the templates in action. Not sure how this is all going to pan out but I thought it sounded like fun. We'll see how it goes :)
AND
Of course I'll have lots more techniques, card sketches, quotes and vintage postcards as well.
I hope you'll all stick around and check out all I've got in store :)
It all sounds very exciting- I will be staying tuned!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! You are always full of great ideas. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSounds wonderful! I have many stamps in my collection... as I just love the designs... but sooo embarrassed to tell you I don't use them much as I am nervous to start.. I love artistic stamps like Stampington.. and many others.. but sometimes not sure where to start.IYKWIM to create something more than just a stamp on paper...
ReplyDeleteEmbarrassed to confess that but hope you get where I am coming from..
Lou xx
