ReplyDeleteTehniques - How about image transfers Roni
Oooh, image transfers...I want to see that too.
ReplyDeleteBut to add my own, lets see. How about something with UTEE? Anything at all would be good. :)
Sad for those that don't respond :(. I'm still playing with all those pesky left over flowers... Let's see some tips and tricks on UTEE.
ReplyDeleteIs there a technique you haven't shown us yet, Roni? lol! I'm always amazed by all the classes you hold here. How about creating something that's very dimensional, lots of texture and mixed media?
ReplyDeletecats7dog0
ReplyDeleteI like anything. How about dimensional plaster frames. stamped, textured or anything.
A project using those tiles?
Diane K.
I have just discovered UTEE and would like anything taught using it.
ReplyDeleteAny technique that takes old craft supplies and makes them new and different.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a UTEE demo as that's something that I'd really love to get in to.
ReplyDeleteSue x
How about something with copper mesh or how about something with rust or with copper patina.
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn something about metal etching or solar plate etching also.
Gaby xo
Image transfers for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd how about something with the distress metallic paints?
ReplyDeleteThank you for being so giving and kind to teach us! We appreciate it!
I would love to learn a few things: new ideas for shrink plastic; using the masks by Tim Holtz or Heidi Swapp (the masks are so big and my projects are so small!); using fabric on card projects.
ReplyDeletethanks for everything you do for us!
Nancy S
Ok, since you have kindly offered to teach us, I'll add some more ideas to my wish list! (1) simple watercolor techniques for coloring stamped images (either watercolor pencils or paints), (2) using ribbon on cards in ways other than bows, (3) ideas for flat gifts (ie, easy to mail!), such as bookmarks or....(see, I ran out of ideas already!).
ReplyDeleteMany thanks,
Nancy S
I'd love to see something with metal and patina too
ReplyDeleteoh and beeswax!!!
ReplyDeleteAnything to do with alcohol inks please, I'm still learning all about them!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've heard of 'cracked glass', but not sure what it is.
ReplyDeleteHi..I need some education about UTEE...hear about it, ppl refer to it..but no one lets on how to use it! HELP...ty Cher
ReplyDeleteHi...another thing I like when I see it ...metal...almost every project I see I luv...so some tips here would be great...but do tell where to get metal reasonable priced. Ty, Cher
ReplyDeleteMe again...another technique I have no clue about is the image transfers...please enlighten..Ty Cher
ReplyDeletehilly77@comcast.net
Just discovered your blog from a google search on bamboo tiles, and you make them look interesting, so please enter my name in your give away. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOk - so I can leave one idea per post, right? (Just want to make sure I'm not cheating when I flood you with ideas. You know me, I am full of it... er... um *blushing*... IDEAS, that is. Yup - that's what I meant! LOL
ReplyDeleteI also vote for transfers. Specifically, I have an ink jet printer and I am stumped on how to do transfers with non-laser copies!
Charms! I've seen some of the fab jewelry you've made. How about some ideas on how to make charms for practically anything - bracelets, necklaces, earrings, bookmarks, elements on cards, LOs and ATCs, etc. Charms made with Ranger glass and frames, metal blanks and Glossy Accents, UTEE, etc, from Scrabble tiles, game pieces, Tim's metal embellishments, shrink plastic and on and on and on.
ReplyDeleteIf it catches on and people here like to make charms, we could even do a small charm swap and make a bracelet at the end. Doesn't that sound fun? (*phinny is vigorously nodding her head at the computer monitor* LOL)
How about a tutorial on how to work with acetate, acrylic, transparencies... you know, anything clear like overlays, clear tags and books? How to stamp on it, the best adhesives to use, ideas on hiding the adhesive with paper and embellishments, etc.
ReplyDelete(OK - I'll not be overly obnoxious and stop with my ideas for now. But "I'LL be BACK..." LOL)
P.S. guess what the word verification is that I have to type in in order to post this? P R E G O !! lol Too funny. Oh - and I'm not, just in case anyone was wondering.
I want to see a few more ideas with CH's sticky back canvas. I have started playing with it and am catching on quickly to how grand it is to make things that now do not need to be sewn. Fun stuff but looking for more ideas.
ReplyDeletei would like more techniques using pearl-ex/mica. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to learn about using acrylic albums. Really want to get back into scrapbooking :) xx
ReplyDeleteOh boy, this is a tough question Roni because there aren't too many techniques that you haven't already covered!
ReplyDeleteSo...given that, how about something with dry embossing? I have some brass stencils that are dying to be used!
Ah, I just thought of something else that I desperatly need help with. How about showing us ways to use old stickers? I have so many of them and they look outdated so I keep passing them over.
ReplyDeleteoohh..maybe some ideas on mogpodge? or clay? luv it all! ty Cher

What about Metal Art. It looks so complicated but lovely.
ReplyDeleteWould love to learn the technique on Gesso & texture paint too!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I thought of another technique I would love to see. How about more shrink plastic? I have a bunch of that...and would like to see what I can do with it besides just plain stamp with Staz On!
ReplyDeleteHow about projects using fabric scraps and trim? I have lots of that from my sewing days and would love to get some inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI actually want to start keeping an art journal. I would want to know what kind of paper would be best that would be suitable for all kinds paints. And where I can get that paper. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn what one can do with angelina film.
