Hi Friends ~
I wanted to share the stamps and projects I made for this months Get Inked Kit...
I've been waiting for this kit for months...it was so much fun to decide on which butterflies to use and I love how delicate yet tough butterflies are.
Here are the stamps in the kit.... now this months kit (July Get Inked - Butterflies) is almost sold out already but if you miss out you can simply e-mail Vicki and get your name down when the new order comes in.
The July kit comes with Encore inks - Pink, Green and Honeydew for some fun crafting. Here are the projects I made which if you purchase the kit you will receive a supply list and directions for each technique.
I am going to give away a set of this months stamps ~ to be entered to win simply leave a comment telling me what your favorite butterfly/moth is. For me at this moment I would have to say it's the Luna Moth...I LOVE it's color and it reminds me of a fairy. They are just incredibly stunning but of course there are many many more I love ~ the Monarch because of it's determination, the Blue Morpho from South America...because it's blue; the swallowtails; etc. Like I mentioned before...I really like butterflies :)
So now it's your turn...tell me what your favorite butterfly is and you'll be entered to win a set of my butterfly stamps from the July Get Inked Kit!
You have until 7-31-11 to enter for your chance to win!
Good Luck Friends!!
I would say the Monarch, although like you, I love them all.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite butterfly is the Papilio
ReplyDeleteUlysses. :) (it's the big blue butterfly :) )
I love the luna moth, although all butterflies are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like the Tiger Swallowtails but there's alot to choose from and they're all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the Cinnabar moth, one of which I discovered recently while out walking. It is black with bright red markings on it's wings as a warning that it is poisonous!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Blue Morpho. I love the shimmery blue color of it's wings.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the blue morpho butterfly, although there are many, many pretty ones from which to choose!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite butterfly is the one you embossed! I also really like monarchs because of the earthy colors.
ReplyDeleteActually I love all butterflies for their beautiful colors and fragility, but I think the swallowtail is outstanding beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful stamps Roni! The sayings really complete the set nicely. I think they will sell quite nicely for you. As far as favorites go, I love the Blue Morpho the best. The blue shimmery wings are just spectacular!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite butterflies are any that visit my yard!! We get a lot of monarchs plus yellow and blue ones - I dont know the names. I love butterflies in my stamping too.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are beautiful!! thanks for sharing them
today my favorite is the Monarch--- my DH just got a pic of one that was just out of his Chrysalis and drying his/her wings. Something we had never seen
ReplyDeleteThe blue morpho is definitely my favorite, not only is it the prettiest shade of blue, but the brown on the other side looks like the wings have eyes. so pretty! I love looking for those when the butterflies come to our 'garden' exhibit place.
ReplyDeleteHi Roni,my absolute favourite is the Red Admiral. We get them round the Buddhlia bushes here. But i also love the Peacock butterfly.Well, love them all really!LOL.Rosie.x
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful stamp set Roni. My favorite is the blue transparent butterfly ~ I love the blue and orange together.
ReplyDeleteYour butterfly creations are just dreamy. Happy stamping...
ReplyDeleteWonderful and lovely butterfly cards. I want to grab one of these.
ReplyDeleteMy most favorite butterfly is the beautiful Monarch!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite butterfly is the tourquoise blue Eastern Swallowtail...it is so irredescent and beautiful to watch....
ReplyDeleteOh my that set is wonderful! I love those cards and I will have to pick the Monarch but I do love them all.
ReplyDeleteI love the Monarch but in my part of the country they are few and far between. Would love to be able to stamp a butterfly anytime I wanted to see one.
ReplyDeleteAll butterflies are beautiful but my favorite is the tiny eastern-tailed blue butterfly.
ReplyDeleteWow - just pick one? Ok..the Bog Copper. Not copper colored at all but beautiful. They're ALL beautiful. This is the one I wanted for my tattoo but unfortunately, being of Italian heritage with olive skin, the color wouldn't be good on my skin. So I had to go with completely different colors. Still...very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say the Monarch for it's rich, vibrant colours.
ReplyDeleteButterflies are one of my favorite subjects! I'm currently working on an altered book with a butterfly theme.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the Glasswing; it's so fascinating to watch it fly with almost invisible wings with pops of color.
i love the Monarch, for its migration each year, endangered classifcation, beauty, and toughness. but gotta say, there's no such thing as an ugly b'fly
ReplyDeleteI have to agree the Luna Moth is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe symbol of the butterfly is my Fibromyalgia support group. I have made butterfly cards in the past for them. This would be absolute a treat to create even more beautiful card for us. It is a symbol of hope. Thank you for a chance to enter.
ReplyDeleteI also have to say the Monarch (but I will take any butterfly I can get!)
ReplyDeleteI love all of them, but love the swallowtail is my favorite....today. You cards are all fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love the Monarch, but we don't have them here in Alaska.:(
ReplyDeleteHowever we do have the tiger swallowtail which is just as lovely and it is my favorite butterfly to see in my garden.
Jackie in Alaska
I always thought the monarch was my favorite but I thought I would pop over on google and see butterfly images and WOW, I don't know how anyone picks just one. I landed on a blue page and I didn't know the many blues out there.
ReplyDeleteI'll still pick the monarch but just because they visit my butterfly bushes.
Love those monarchs!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Blue Monarch butterfly. I remember seeing them as a child.
ReplyDeleteI love butterflies too, and I'll say the Monarch is my favorite because of the color combination. They are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteDeniseB

Thank you for the opportunity to win the lovely butterfly stamps collection. My favorite butterfly is the giant swallowtail; they are so bold and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThere is not a butterfly out in the fabulous world that I don't love! To watch them flutter about is heaven! I know the Monarch on site, but I wouldn't say it's my favorite. They are all beautiful creatures!!
ReplyDeleteI only know one butterfly by name and it is the Monarch. So that's the one I have to pick, although they are all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors of the monarch, and the blue morpho is simply stunning.
ReplyDeleteI love the monarch butterflies.
ReplyDeleteJoan Fiskateer #808
favorite is the Monarch because if you can find one in the caterpillar stage which has a zebra look with black, yellowish and white stripes and follow it through to a cocoon which is green wtih gold trimmings, then turns clear and you can see the colors of the Monarch. Grandaughters found one on milkweed plant. Got to see the whole process to flying away. AWESOME Experience!
ReplyDeleteI am partial to Monarchs but I am also keen on the swallow tails. Any butterfly to me is beautiful and so graceful.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I love them all, but any blue colours--love them :) which is odd because my favourite colours are earth tones!
ReplyDeleteI love all butterflies but my favorite is Papilio Ulysses, pretty blue! TFS
ReplyDeleteButterflies are so beautiful and it's such a treat to see one in the backyard - it's hard to pick only one. Even though I really like the Tiger Swallowtails, my favourite is probably the Hydaspe Fritillary. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe have a Tiger Swallowtail named "Tiger" that makes the rounds in our back yard regularly...loves all the weeds, our garden, blooming artichokes and wild anise. Tiger is so BEAUTIFUL!
