  1. I wish I had a picture of my grandpa. Your picture brings back so many wonderful memories about my childhood with my grandparents.

I can't believe I'm the first to post. My favorite piece of art would have to be a mini album I made about my trip to Florida with my dh. I don't have any pics online yet, unfortunately.

Great question, I look forward to seeing what everyone else has to share.

  6. My favorite thing I have made is a card that was created for a challenge which had to include a quotation. I loved this card when it was finished even tho in all honesty I feel like it turned out so well more by luck than judgment. Anyhow if anyone wants to take a peek here is My Card

  8. Gorgeous work, Phree and all. I love to see the amazing talent here!

I just did an art journal after an unspeakable family tragedy in August (that I am still living). It is really organic and came from my deepest, most authentic inner self. In fact, it was mostly unconscious b/c I didn't know what I was creating until I completed the last page. I am going to submit it to Stampington & Co. so I can't show pics yet, but cross your fingers that it gets published by them in one of their awesome publications some day.

  9. Oh Roni - can you post a pic of the CTMH Ritzy Ribbon stamp set if you get a minute? I Googled it, but can't find a pic of what the set looks like.

(I'm anal, but you already know that, right??? *smile)

    Thanks!

  11. Oh I just adore that picture frame!!!! My favorite project is the mini album I'm working on about my baby and the time before his death. It's a hard one to do so it's taking me a while.

  12. Hmmm... I can't decide. Recently I had learn how to make a mini-pop up album. It contains all of my daughter's favourite stuff. And another one would be a simple LO I made during a cropping session. It is the only picture of my maternal granddad which I believe no has it.

  15. Fantastic picture of your Grandpa, The favourite thing I have made is the first Scrapbook album I made for my daughter. Her dad passed away and I made her a keepsake album with just photos of the two of them together from her baby pictures up until present day. She loves it and often has her nose in it when she wants to stroll down memory lane.
Although my work has improved alot since I started it always reminds me that it was this project that got me started in this wonderful hobby. Jaqi

  17. I think the most fav. thing I've ever done is a scrapbook of me and my sweetie. I did one page of him at birth and on the opposite page was me at birth. I did this all the way up to the time we were 17. It is so fun to look through and see what we each looked liked at the same age!

  18. This piece isn't one that is the most visually pleasing to me, but it let me say things that were going unsaid in my life: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/92059/view/1085733/-1/20/1.html

It is a picture of my grandmother and my daughter, who born 100 years and 355 days after my grandmother. She was the only thing that my grandmother really responded to during her last weeks in hospice care.

I actually came to comment just to say how much I liked the colors and design of the frame on your grandfather's picture. It is lovely.

  21. My favorite creation of my own (so far) is a chipboard album I made for my best girlfriend who adopted a baby girl from Taiwan.

The book is in the shape of an Asian take-out container, with ribbons for the handles. The parents want to keep the baby in touch with her Asian heritage, and besides, it's dang cute!

  24. The photo of your grandpa is wonderful. So, who's the little boy peeking over the stove in it??!
I'd have to say that my favorite project was probably the scrapbook album that I made my Mom of the trip to Hawaii she treated all her kids and grandkids to. I got everyone to write a thank you note to her, and added it to the album, along with quotes from everyone on their favorite parts of the trip, funny things they remembered etc. I never even scrapped the trip myself, because by the end of that project I was sick of Hawaii photos! LOL!

  25. My favorite project was my wedding thank you cards. I stamped the main image and sentiment and used cardstock and paint chip samples! I made 75 thank you cards...all by hand.
