I hadn't thought to check recently but someone asked me how many copies of my book has sold.
Well I just checked and I have surpassed
10,000 copies sold!!!
Woo Hoooo!!!
I'm sure compared to some folk's book it's only a drop in the bucket but I'm pretty stoked.... For coming out in one of the worst economic down turns since the "Great Depression" and I'd say it's doing pretty darn well.
I am so excited I want to share that excitement with you....
I want to gift a copy of my book
(signed if you would like)
(signed if you would like)
to one of my Ink Stained friends!
All you have to do is post a comment about my book (what you like, dislike, etc.) if you own it
or
If you've not got a copy, post a comment about what you'd like to see here on the blog as well as likes or dislikes!
I'm all about sharing things you want to see
so now's your chance to tell me
AND
win something I hope you will enjoy in the process!
You have until 4-18-12 to post.
Good Luck
and
Happy Crafting!
Hi, love your blog, especially the jelly bean shaker card I am going to use the same concept on some projects I want to do. Would love a signed copy of your book. Thanks

OMG! I would love nothing better than a signed copy of your book! I keep hinting around but haven't got a copy yet!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any "dislikes" about your blog but I do have plenty of "likes" (loves really). I love the variety of what I see here.
I love reading your blog and seeing how you transform something out of nothing. Always fun and exciting, and I think you cover so many different things that I can't think of anything I'd like to see.
ReplyDeleteAnd who wouldn't want a signed copy of your book!!
major congrats! I would love a copy of your book...its on my wish list! I love your tutorials that calender you did a lil bit ago was awesome! I love seeing all those techniques!!! I would love to see more of that!
ReplyDeleteWOW Congratulations!! Since I love your blog, I'm sure I'll love the book and would love to win a copy. Thank you for the chance
ReplyDeleteYou rock! Congrats on the book numbers! I love reading your blog; I think I learn something from every post. May not ever use it but I know where to go see if something has been tried and the results - good and bad. Thank you s-o much for all your perspiration in sharing your inspiration with us! Would LOVE to own a copy of this book - looks amazing! And I am most definitely a visual learner!
ReplyDeleteOMG Roni!! I had no idea you wrote a book and we've been following each other for a while. Congratulations!!!!! Way to go fellow Hoosier:) I love the tutorials you have on your blog and of course I love looking at your work. I'd love to read your book. Thanks for the chance to own one:)
ReplyDeleteI've visited your blog a couple times in the past, then forgotten about it (mostly got distracted by small moving objects called kids...go figure) But... I've now bookmarked it and come regularly (as regularly as said monsters let me)! I love the search tool!!! And the book would be wonderful! I could carry it and read it at all moster-friendly places and dogear all my must-try next projects!! I think it is wonderful that you've done so well! Congrats!! And thanks for the instructions and inspirations!!
ReplyDeleteI would love to read and learn from your book. I love collage, but it is really hard for me. I spend hours trying to decide if I should add one more thing. Looking at a blank page is so intimidating, I usually just put it away and hope for better luck next time.
ReplyDeleteRoni,
ReplyDeleteI check your blog every day and love the variety of projects. I think my favorite is when you repurpose items that otherwise would be lost! Old pen nibs, bottles...etc.etc.

I love your website!!!.. I have been able to complete a couple projects because you do such a great job showing the steps. I looked at your book on Amazon and it looks like I would love it. Even put it on my wishlist. I've wanted to get into altering and making charms. Keep up the great work!!!
ReplyDeleteHooray Roni, it is a wonderful achievement. Actually writing a book in the first place I think is pretty amazing. I would love to have a signed copy of your book and thanks for the chance to win one. I drop into your blog everyday and love your step by steps. Some more collages prehaps, I have learned so much from you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Roni
Congratulations Roni and thanks for the chance to win a signed copy of your book. I love the product comparisons, all the great techniques and all the fabulous recycling projects! Thanks for the fabulous site!
ReplyDeleteI love stopping by your blog and seeing all of the great ideas you come up with- and generously share! I love the product reviews and the swaps. I love trying new techniques- and am not proficient at collage at all- I would love to take the next 'step' with a copy of your book! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your book! It's dog-eared & well used. I love how clear the tutorials are & the various topics covered. Congrats on 10,000 copies sold!

i'M JUST POSTING TO SAY CONGRATS!
ReplyDeleteI already own this lovely book...amazon tells me that I bought it in 2009. Touching 10,000 artist's lives is a rare feat indeed, but you totally deserve it. Happy Easter!
Congratulations Roni! That's wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteI'm a regular follower and last year, we exchanged a pair of e-mails about alcohol inks...
I found your blog very interesting especially for your "creative experiments" that you show to us, the use of a new product, advantages or disadvantages...for example the most recent, were the differences between distress inks and distress markers!....That was a really good post for me, because I'm tempted to buy Distress Markers!....
Thanks for sharing all your experiements
Regards
Lourdes
I have seen a friends copy now must have one for myself!
ReplyDeleteJob well done.

Congrats, Roni! I would love to win a signed copy of your book! I'm a huge fan of your blog and just recently turned more towards mixed media and altered art. So I got a lot to learn. I always love your reviews on the new stuff on the market and the techniques you describe are so original!

Its always fun checking my email and reading what you've been up to! Thanks for the inspiration - it always seems to come along just when I need it - Kathy
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I bought 2 of those 10,000 books! One for me (and it is never far from my scrap table) and another for a friend--both were autographed by Roni for us. I know, there are times when you look at Roni's art and say, "I can't do that!" But, let me tell you, this book will have you saying, "Yes! I can!" Congratulations on reaching such a great milestone, Roni!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the success of your book! No wonder at all. This is one of my favorite reference books!!! It sits right on my word surface!! I love the whole section on transfers. There were a few new-to-me ones in there.
ReplyDeleteLove all the things you do and can't wait to check each day what is up with Ink Stains. I don't have your book,. but sure would love to have it. Count me in.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!! Well, if this isn't fate. The last time I was at Michael's I had your book in my hand!!! I had my gd with me and told her "omg, this is Roni's book!!!" I got so excited! Sadly I couldn't get it at the time:(( I did browse through it and liked very much what I saw. Hopefully my next trip:)) Although to win an autographed copy would be awsome! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to win a copy of your book!! You give such excellent tutorials on your blog, especially for AJ newbies! I just love your work!!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your blog. Haven't been following very long, but long enough to see you offer a very diverse group of ideas and techniques. Hard to say what I'd like to see, because it seems you've posted about nearly everything. Maybe how to decorate boxes? It's probably already been covered, I just need to poke around for a while. One tiny little dislike: the black background makes it hard for my old eyes to read the text.
ReplyDeleteI've only recently (in the last few months) found your blog, so I didn't even know you had a book out...But now I'm so excited!! I would LOVE to have a copy of my own!
ReplyDeleteWhat attracted me to become a "faithful" follower of your blog is all the different techniques you do tutorials on. I really got hooked when you were doing your calendar, and showing different ideas and techniques each day. (who would have ever thought of stamping with bleach?!?!) That's what I would love to see even more of!!

Love seeing what you are up to Roni. Can't think off the top of my head of any dislikes for the book or the blog, truly!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I would love to have a signed copy of your book!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the awesome book sales!! You are my favorite blog and IMHO the most overall talented crafter out there! Winning a signed edition would be so thrilling for me! Thanks Roni for the chance!
ReplyDeleteI would love some ideas for things to use as focal images on art journal pages. I can make gorgeous backgrounds all day, and then I don't want to cover them up with a focal image!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on book sales. It would be nice to own a copy of your book since I don't currently own it. I have been following your blog for awhile. I like all the techniques you are shared & the projects you have made. Thanks for giving us an opportunity to win a copy of your book & signed would be nice too.
