Quick & Green Cards!

Today I wanted to share some
Quick and Easy & GREEN
(it's getting close to St. Patty's Day you know!!)
cards that you can make in minutes.
With a few basic supplies you will have a card for any occassion in minutes.
The best part is these cards can be altered slightly to fit whatever last minute needs might arise :)

Thanks

Supplies: Pattern paper, ric-rack, gemstones, Prima Flowers, Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.

Alternatives

*If you don't have large Prima flowers how about using chipboard, silk, die-cut, paper punched, free-hand cut flowers?

*No Gemstones available? Stickles works great in place and still adds the bling! Other ideas....foil punchies, chipboard painted with metallics, brads that have been alcohol inked, metallic markers...

*Ric-Rack can be easily stamped with help from mfg's like Technique Tuesday, Fontwerks or CTMH ribbon stamps. Dig out those deco scissors and cut a piece of ric-rack!! Another great alternative is to use a strip of pattern paper.

HI

Supplies - Pattern Paper, Ribbon, Letter Stickers

Alternatives -

*Use fibers, twine, torn & frayed strips of material, dyed cheese cloth strips, burlap strips, twisted paper, or even just plain strips of pattern paper!

*No letter stickers on hand? Try stamping, chipboard letters, or even cut some letters out of a magazine for a funky touch!

Watercolor Congratulations

Supplies - Rubber Stamp, Dye Inks, Mini Mister, Cardstock, ribbon.

Alternatives -

*Don't have time to mess with making a watercolor image? Just stamp the image (no need to make it a watercolor image); cut an image out of pattern paper; cut an image out of a magazine; use a piece of ephemera; use a photo!

The Signs Of Spring

Supplies: Pattern Paper, Ribbon, Pre-Printed Chipboard Piece, Distress Ink

Alternatives -

*No chipboard piece with the right saying? Cut the saying off the chipboard all together; cover the pre-printed saying with a strip of paper or strips containing one word each; cut a piece of matching pattern paper and stamp needed saying; use rub-ons to add the desired saying.

  4. Have to say that I, along with Tammy, thought you were doing ecologically friendly cards!! Was wondering what that would entail...all recycled products?!!
Anyway, love the fresh look of your green cards and plan to make up a bunch of cheery spring inspired designs! Loving the color green!
