I read this article recently that American Crafts bought Bazzill Basics. I do hope that AC doesn't try to change a good thing.
Well, I originally came on to tell you about the above article and American Crafts buying Bazzill. I was going to also mention the other cardstock I love to use which is Couture Cardstock....but when I tried to go to their site it wasn't there any longer! They had really nice cardstock comparable to Bazzill quality but at a fraction of the price. I usually place two very large orders a year so I hadn't visited there recently. I am in shock and saddened because I never heard a word about it on any forum or individual ~ and I still can't find anything about it.
Gosh I don't know what I'm going to do... Don't get me wrong, I have a huge supply of cardstock but now I am wondering if I need to hoard what I have. I hate paying huge prices for cardstock when I know it's marked up so much it's ridiculous. I'm not opposed to someone making a profit but when it's all about the $'s it honks me off... It could be marketed for kids or general use at a reasonable cost but label it scrapbooking, rubber stamping, mixed media, collage, etc. and the price goes from reasonable to outrageous. CC was one of the last really reasonable cardstock supplies around.
So, looks like I'm on a quest for cardstock now...
What cardstock do you use?
Is it comparable to Bazzill (or Couture Cardstock)?
