Orange Clean Image Transfer Examples

Hi All!!

As promised, I have examples using the Orange Clean Image Transfer technique but I thought I'd answer a few questions first...

Trine (from Norway) asked if there was something comperable to Orange Clean that she might give it a try....

I checked the bottle and there isn't an ingredient list but it does say on the front Made with pure orange oil. Not sure other than that...sorry I can't be of more help on that one.

Where can you find Orange Clean?

I bought mine at Wal-Mart but I've also seen it at supermarkets and discount stores.

Someone asked about what happens to the transfers after a period of time and what it would do to surrounding paper/photo/etc.?

Well, since it's made from orange oil I would assume there is citric acid in it. I don't know for sure but I would assume that since it's acid it may have some deterioration after time but I haven't a clue. I planned on using it on items like ATC's, Cards, Tags and the like. If you're into archival, I don't think I'd use them near photos or on sb layouts.

Now, on to the examples :)

Fun stuff huh?

I've got another cool image transfer technique to share with you tomorrow...

This one is a bit more involved but it works with ink jet, laser, toner and pre-printed collage sheets so it's a bit more all inclusive than the Orange Clean Transfer.

Hope you stop back in and check it out!!

TTFN Friends!

OH!!! I almost forgot ~ I'm finally on Facebook!

I'm signed up under Roni Johnson from Albion In but I'm going to try to get one set up for Ink Stains so if you'd like to friend me or Ink Stains (prob. set it up tomorrow), please do so :)

I think there are some buttons I can add here but haven't looked into it yet but I will.

Take Care!

  5. Ooooh - love the inked crepe paper ruffle around the card above the awesome cowgirl pinup tag. Andthat Alamo stamp looks familiar... I knew you'd like it!! *smile*

IMO, transfers are the coolest, most altered art-y element of all. Love the transfer ideas!!

  6. TAMMY - Where do you live, what city and state? Maybe someone here has an idea on where to go to get the Orange cleaner.
