Here are my creations to inspire...

My first creation is this fun canvas plaque - C is for Cowgirls. 

Lots of fun western themed bits and bobs on this 8x12 canvas. 

My next project is a little box I made to house....

Cowgirl Wisdom ATC Cards!!

My final project are these fun Cowgirl wall art pieces with some fun bandana skirts! Each one is a little bit sassy in a Cowgirl sort of way.

Conjurer of Dreams - New Month New Challenges!!

Hello Friends!!

The first of the month and you know what that means...new month - new challenges!!

I'm going to start with Conjurer of Dreams.

There are all sorts of fun new things going on there. First off  the VALENTINE + GOTHIC section in the shop is 50% off Feb 1-14!!! How cool is that. Perfect timing to create for your loved ones!!

The next New things is that if you comment on the design team posts on the blog - Kims Conjurer of Dreams - you will be entered to win a specially designed collage sheet all your own!

There are a couple new "creation" challenges as well....  

First, each new design team inspiration blog post offers up a free collage image. If you use any of these new images in a project of your choice and post it here - Conjurer of Dreams February Free Image Challenge - you could win a set of images from the Conjurer of Dreams Etsy store!!

Second there is a wicked cool new challenge called the Progressive Challenge. This is the first image of the challenge... Make something using this image - it could be a tag, card, atc, bookmark, etc. Anything your heart desires...

post it under the February Progressive Challenge discussion on the Facebook Page - Conjurer of Dreams - then Kim will send you the next image and you repeat the process - making a project, posting on the blog, etc.  

The prizes for both the Free Image Challenge and the Progressive Challenge will be exclusive Collage Sheets not available in the store!!

Winter Windows & Steam Train Plaque

 Hello Friends!

This month's theme at Conjurer of Dreams is Winter Windows! 

So very appropriate when much of the country is experiencing this very view from their window.

An array of various windows from me to you...

And now something with a bit of a different theme. When I first saw these seasonal steam trains I knew I had to use them. They are so very beautiful and I think I found an accompanying sentiment that fits them perfectly....

Gecko Galz Challenges - January 2025

 Happy Day!

Are you staying warm? It's been wicked cold here in Indiana - down to 0 in the morning but even colder next week - ICK!!  I am so not liking this - I'm ready for some warmer weather...I only have to wait about 5 months or so - LOL!!

I have been working on the monthly challenges that Gecko Galz hosts over on their blog - Gecko Galz.  I just got the last of the photos taken so I thought I'd share what I've made.

For these challenges Gecko Galz supplies an image and then you create with it. Most are anything you want to make but there is a Card challenge which of course you have to make a card and an ATC challenge.

Here are my creations...

Card Challenge -

She is so regal looking isn't she?

Christmas Challenge...

Love this image - got such a cool 70's vibe. I used 3 layers of the wreath and added some bling for the berries. The Dresden Trim is gold but it looks almost silver in some spots. Guess it's the lighting.

Fantasy Challenge...

Oh I had fun with this - the bottles are paper clay with some colored wax and glitter :)

ATC Challenge

Lace and glitter and snowflakes! Gotta love wintery goodness!

Gothic Challenge...

Oh I had such fun with this giant puzzle piece. I love the Gothic challenge - always so much fun!

Steampunk Challenge...

Last but certainly not least my Steampunk creation! I loved the image of the steampunk transport machine - I added some gears and glitter and the man is a prize from Conjurer of Dreams - I choose Steampunk men and this is one of the images I received. LOVE him!

So there you go...

Christmas Altered Muffin Tin

 Hello Friends!

Each quarter Gecko Galz has a special challenge that last 3 months long. I have been slacking a bit but I finally got my project finish and photographed. I found a vintage muffin tin in my stash and knew I could create a little Christmas fun...

I had such fun making it. Now I know most people would have painted the tin it's self but personally I like the "well loved" look.  I used a combination of free images and others from various collage sheets. I added lots of extra bits and bobs to finish it off. And what's Christmas without sparkles. I twined together silver and red tinsel to wrap around the edge of the tin. I hope you enjoy!!

NEW Gecko Galz January Challenges

 Hello All...

It's the start of a whole new set of challenges at Gecko Galz!

Each month there are several challenges on the blog -

Gecko Galz 

The Monthly Challenge is a particular theme and January's is Gatsby Girls!!  I so can't wait to share my projects with you.  I had such fun with this theme.

There are also many other challenges where the image is provided and you create something with that image. Most challenges are whatever you want to make but there are a couple specific challenges - the ATC and Card challenge.  Be sure to check out the fun images provided for each challenge. My favorite is the Steampunk and Gothic challenges but in reality they are all fun.

Gecko Galz also has a Facebook group - Gecko Galz Papercrafting Challenge Group that hosts 4 different challenges each month that changes.  This is the list of January's challenges below...

I can't wait to get started on these!
