A Christmas Challenge?

 Hello All!

As you know Gecko Galz hosts several challenges each month on their blog. They provide an image for each challenge and all you need to do is use it on a project. Now it doesn't have to be a card but you know how much I love making them so that's what I did today....

Steampunk Challenge -

I love this Steampunk Santa Clause...he's so cute! I went with it and gave him a steampunk time mat from the Time Flies ATC sheet. I also stamped the card it's self with several different Lavina stamps.

Gothic Challenge

She normally wouldn't be a Christmas image but I turned her into one :)  I used a background from the Christmas Dreams sheet then a bit of fussy cutting and I added some sparkle and a bit of faux fur!  It's a very tactile card and I love how it turned out!

Christmas Challenge

Oh how I love this darling owl.  Doesn't he have the sweetest face? Well I had to use a bit of sparkle and lace.  Just too much fun.

Card Challenge

This is the only challenge I didn't "Christmas" up.  The image is the woman which I paired with a free moon image from one of the old Gecko Galz newsletters! Did you realize you can right click on all of the collage images from the newsletters to save/use?  Well you sure can and this is just one of many I have saved!

Hope you decide to hop on over and pick up one or all of the Free images to play with.
If you do, be sure to post your creations - you could be the lucky winner of a GG Gift Certificate!

Gecko Galz - Yuletide Dreams

Hello Friends!

Today I am so honored and excited to share my first projects as a member of the Gecko Galz design team!!

This month's theme is Yuletide Dreams and this is what I have created....

First up is my dual sided ice skate. I thought it would be fun to make it double sided so you could display it longer...from Christmas right though winter.

Next up....

The Naughty List Accordion Album

Naughty is the new nice....LOL!!  Well it is for these Christmas misses.... I came up with all sorts of fun Naughty List sentiments and had fun pairing them with each of these little ladies.

And this month Gecko Galz is sharing a tag a day...I couldn't just stop at one - LOL!!

A pair of view master tags with lots of fun vintage images.

The little bubbles are actually watchmaker crystals for wrist watches. I printed the image twice - glued the various bits to the crystals then glued the crystals to the second print.

I loved this image and thought it would be fun to use a non-traditional color for Christmas.

This tag has a mica foundation - I sandwiched 3 images inside 2 pieces of the mica and embossed the edges.  I then added the sentiment, ribbons and charm.
