Ranger Tech. Calendar - June - Adirondack Color Wash

Today I wanted to use Ranger's Adirondack Color Wash.  If you've tried it in the past you know how frustrating the old bottles were. BUT Ranger has solved those problems...trust me when I say the new style spray bottles eliminate all the aggravations of the old.  I've used them 4-5 times now and I've never had any trouble with any of the colors.  It's great!!

Stamped Labels

Supplies:

Adirondack Color Wash - Ranger
Archival Ink - Ranger
Non-Stick Craft Sheet - Ranger
Heat Tool - Ranger
Rubber Stamps - Hot Off the Press
Mini Labels - Office Supply Store
Cardstock - Georgia Pacific
Dry Cloth
Printed Calendar Page
Embellishments

Instructions:

1. I need two sheets of labels to cover my calendar page so the first step is to temporarily affix the sheets side by side to my non-stick craft mat.  I just used my ATG tape.

2. Stamp desired image(s) over the entire sheet of labels using Archival Ink.

3. Mist the labels with water then spritz desired color(s) of Color Wash over the labels.  Quickly pat away excess water.  Heat to dry the labels quickly.

4. To affix the stamped and dyed labels to your cardstock peel the backing paper about 1/2 way down the first set of labels.

5. Line the labels up on your cardstock.  Press the exposed sticky half of the labels to the cardstock and gently peel the backing paper off the rest of the way.  Smooth down the labels.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all of the labels have been transferred from the backing paper to the cardstock.

7. (optional) If desired you could add a few squirts of the new Perfect Pearls spray if desired.

You can now finish off the page as desired.  Here is my June page....

Well we're half way through the year now...are you keeping up? 

Per many requests from last year I am only creating 4 pages per week so everyone has a chance to catch up on the weekends.  I hope it's helping everyone!!
