We're almost there!
Almost time for the give-away!
Are you excited...do you want to win?
Be sure to leave your comments both here on the blog and on my Facebook page for all of your chances to win!!
I decided I wanted to see if I could make an entire scene using just the foiled papers. What do you think? These are all Gina Marie dies which I love! The only extra was a bit of glue and glitter on the "snow"
This example is another diecut from Gina Marie...this time it's a floral cover die. Isn't the contrast just stunning?
Another fun technique is to emboss then use sand paper to lightly sand off the color here and there. It really makes this wood grain pop don't you think?
Finally I wanted to create impact so I cut black and gold foiled papers into shreds of various widths and made a real for sure pompom! It measures approximately 4" across and over 3" tall!! These are so cool and all I did was lay the shreds over a piece of wire, tie the wire into a knot and fluff. It was so easy and it creates quite the statement piece!

ReplyDeleteThe moose scen is so awesome! I can see makng that for my Brother in Alaska. I love the glitter by the feet, it gives it motionand texture, like you can see the moose's foot sinking a bit into the snow. Love the cover die look. Great job! I could see little ones having a blast playng with the shiney and sparkly pom-poms.
