Fashion Tickets & more New StampersBest!

Hi All!!

StampersBest just released a whole page full of cool new stamps.....

Today I wanted to share a card I made using a newer set of SB stamps ~


The first thing I did was to stamp a few of the tickets from the set.  I did so by coloring them with my Distress Markers, huff a bit of hot air onto them and stamp.

I then edged them with a bit of sepia ink.

I thought a nice little lace envie would be the perfect compliment to these tickets.  The first thing you need to do is place a paper lace doily face down on your work surface.  Fold the bottom third towards the center.

Open that fold up then fold the left and rigth sides of the doily in towards the center.

Then fold the original bottom flap back into place.  I also used one of the text stamps from the set along the bottom edge of our new envie.

I test fit the tickets to make sure they were going to fit o.k.

I stamped a piece of cardstock with a few of the tickets in Victorian velvet, covered them with a mask and stamped the text over and over using Broken China.

Glue the envie to the front of the card....

Mount on a dark blue card panel, add a few Liquid Pearl flourishes....

add a few flowers and pearls...

and you're done!

    My favorite stamps from the new release are the runners, the wings and the little notepaper. I bet that note one would get used the most though, since you could write whatever you want on it. Great card, btw! Really like all the finishing touches!

    Love your card and the doily makes a wonderful pocket for the tickets.
    My favorite stamp from the new releases is the one with the two ladies with umbrellas. It would make for a very feminine card.

    ooooh that's a tough one! It's a toss up between the corset, the steampunk flying machine, or the steampunk lady...they're fabulous stamps! I love your card too! I love the way you made a pocket from the doily! Thanks for the inspiration and the chance to win!!

    Gorgeous card and I love the doily envelope. My favourite new image would have to be the steampunk lady but I do love the lobster. It is a lovely set

    wow that is an awesome card. I love how you used the perfect pearls. very cool.
    I would have to say my fav from the new set are the sneaker's and the wing's. I think they are all awesome and couldnt narrow it down to just 1 sorry had to choose 2. thanks for the chance to win. You are always so generous. I think that's awesome

    Hard to choose! I am fond of the Gardening Girl, though. From a practical standpoint, I can see myself using this for lots of lovely cards. Steampunk is interesting, but I don't think I'll get past just looking at it.

    Amazing work and colors. I would kill for those fashion tickets and new Steampunk stamps! I love the stamp with the lady and the gears/cogs hat. How classic!

    I love what you have done with the Distress Markers. And such a cool idea with the doily too. I think my favorite new release is the "Retiring in Style" one. I think I can relate to looking like that when I retire.

    Hard to choose a favorite; the new Stampers Best stamps are all wonderful! It would have to be a toss up between the steampunk woman with the gears/feathers in her hat and the lovely Victorian corset. :)

    Love Stampers Best stamps. I love the doily envelope. My favorite stamps of this release are the vintage ladies with umbrellas or the vintage lady on the bike.

    Love your card Roni...and those Fashion ticket images are so fun! As for my favorite new release, I actually love a bunch of them! The lobster, the sneakers, the hourglass, the Steampunk woman... should I stop listing them?!! Thanks for the chance to win some fabulous stamps!
