Get Inked Stamps - September 2011 - Spooky Halloween!!

BOO!!

Since it's officially Fall I thought I would share a set of my stamps from September's Get Inked Kit over at Queen Kat Designs.

I decided to do Halloween a month early this year so you could order the stamps in time for Halloween :)  and of course they are spooky! Normally I have a favorite stamp in each set I design but I have to tell you I LOVE each and every stamp in this set...

    my fav part of H'ween is ... the candy! i don't like chocolate so this time of year has lots of kid candy without chocolate. perfect for me. guess i've gotten older but not grown up.

    I love the smell of fall too! I live near the Mtns and I just love going up there and walking through the leaves with DH!

    Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler feeling in the air, and also the gorgeous fall colors. We are fortunate to have a nice showing of color where I live in northern CA.
    Halloween is a favorite too, so I'd be thrilled to have new Halloween stamps to play with!

    What an awesome set. So spooky looking! Fall is my favorite time of year. I live in upstate NY so one of my favorite things about the fall is the color. Mother Nature puts on such a glorious show of colors. I love the briskness in the air, that smell of woods when you go out for a walk. Love apple picking time and the Applefest in Warick, NY, Halloween and Thanksgiving!

    This year I am embracing Fall as the season of Change. And in doing so I am Changing my old habit of saving my stuff and instead I am going to USE it. Scary idea but I must let go of saving everything. Your cards are fabulous using this set of stamps. Happy Haunting...

    Great spooky stamps! I love fall for its gorgeous colours! Especially on a cold but sunny day, the colours of the leaves against the blue sky... I also like the mushrooms that pop up everywhere. Oh and Halloween is my favourite festival, 'cause I like everything out of the ordinary!

    My favorite part of fall is the shift from the heat of summer to the cooler fall days. Summers in Texas (especially this year!) can be oppressively hot and fall is always a welcome relief. I especially love the changing of the colors in the trees and plants. Last year was especially gorgeous because of the wet spring we had. This year, unfortunately, we've been in the grips of a severe drought (expected to last through next spring, what the heck?!) and everthing is brown or about to be. :( This might be the year to take that fall foliage trip to New England that I've been dreaming about. :)

    CREATEOLGY, I just read your post and it cracked me up, LOL! I have the same problem! I love my stuff and it's so pretty to look at. Why would I want to use it all up? Cooky, huh?

    I've decided I'm not buying anything else until I use what I have (my DH was happy about that). And I've discovered that my stuff looks really pretty on projects, too! Who knew? :)

    You know I'm not big on doing alot of Halloween cards, but with my favourite part of Fall being the picking of gala apples from the tree, it'd be really funny to see a skeleton holding up an apple. If only I had a bony stamp....lol.

    Fall is totally my favorite season! I love the crispness in the air the leaves changing colors, the smell of burning leaves, & harvest moons. Collecting bittersweet. Making carmel popcorn, pumpkin bread & pumpkin seeds..........And most of all Halloween! Those stamps would be perfect for the idea I had for my Halloween card. If I don't win can I purchase them?

    Those are great stamps you designed! Sure would like to have them....!

    Fall through New Year's is my favorite time of year, but the Fall season is really great. I love the lower humidity making for crisp, cool days with that Carolina Blue sky we have here in NC. It's wonderful to be able to leave our windows open for the fresh air to get in the house! Also love the leaf color and camping this time of year.

    Ah, the smell of Fall in the air! That crispness that catches your breath if you go early in the orning! These and the beautiful colors that come this timeof year make Fall my favorite season!!

    My favorite part of fall is the crispness in the air in the mornings and watching all of the colors of the foliage change from the greens to the yellow, oranges and fire red from day to day like magic.

    I absolutely love the fall for all the reasons everyone has stated. I especially have always enjoyed spending time racking leaves and when I was younger jumping in them! Now that I am too old, (actually NOT) I jump in them with my grandchildren!

    I love the colors of fall - russets, oranges, yellows, golds - and the gorgeous deep blue of the sky. The air is cool and crisp and smells of spice and pumpkins, apples and wood smoke. Delicious!

    My favorite parts of Fall are the smells-hot apple cider stirred with a cinnamon stick, pumpkin cookies, and buring piles of fall leaves. Then there are the sights-fall leaf colors, the mountains turning purple and grey under the first cap of white snowfall, and the sparkling frozen dew in the morning sunlight. The sound of Halloween is really at the top of my list-listening to the children as they make their way around our neighborhood in the dark with their flashlights, nervously giggling and yelling Trick or Treat!!!

    I love the perfect weather and anticipation of the upcoming Holidays...yes, Halloween...it was my due date to be born 50 years ago THIS Halloween! I was a few days late, but Halloween still means my "day" is near. Not as big a deal as an adult. I love to decorate for the 30th, help my kids get costumes, take lots of pictures and then scrapbook them. And beg for candy from my kids (hehe).

    Another awesome stamp set Roni!! Those skulls in profile are so cool and I love the raven!!! As for my favorite part of fall...how about Caramel apples?? I know you can make them any time of the year but there's just something about eating a nice juicy apple smothered in caramel, while wearing a cuddly sweater and watching the leaves turn!

    To be honest,my favorite part of fall,the part that makes me do the "Snoopy Dance,"is that first snap of cool weather. That's when the nosey old biddies in my apt.building go inside for the fall/winter and hibernate. Forgive me but the just sit outside and gossip. LOL

    My absolute fave thing about fall is the change in color outside ~ red, yellow, brown ~ just my kind of earthy colors :)
    And during the october month ~ all the awesome halloweeny horror movies on tv!!!
