I will be using Adirondack Pigment Inks but you could use whatever inks you have on hand as long as they coordinate well together. I love using the Adirondack inks because there is no thinking involved...you always know which colors match perfectly!
Bloomin' Love Notes
Supplies:
3 Coordinating Colors of Ink (Adirondack Pigment Ink - Shell Pink, Watermelon, Cranberry)
Mini Mister (filled w/water)
Non-Stick Craft Mat
Heat It Craft Tool
Cardstock
Pencil
Heart Template or Pattern
Scissors
Hole Punch
Large Brad
Instructions:
1. Dab the two lighter colors of ink onto the Non-Stick Craft Mat or other non-porous surface.
2. Mist the inks with 3-4 squirts of water.
3. Dip and spin....dip your paper into the ink/water mix and give it a quarter turn.
4. Heat the inks to dry them quickly.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until the entire sheet of cardstock has been covered and you're satisfied with the results.
6. Trace several hearts onto the cardstock and cut them out.
7. (optional) Ink the edges with Cranberry ink if desired.
8. Stack 6 of the hearts and punch a hole through the stack of hearts near the point.
9. Place the brad through the hearts and secure.
10. Fan the hearts out and stamp or write your sentiment.
