I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or whatever else you celebrate :) We had a nice but busy time of it with 5 different celebrations to go to.
I have a few things to share with you ~
First and foremost...I have finished the majority of writing on the book!!! I got on a roll last week and ended up finishing chapters 8-10! Now, the only writing I have left is the gallery information (which will be easy) and the appendix (easy but VERY time consuming - I have to write up supply lists for EVERY photo in the book - which at this time is several hundred pics!) I am working on examples for chapters 5-10 now so if I miss a day or so you'll know why...I have to make the examples for all of those pics.
a few other tid-bits of news....
I have a card in the newest issue of Crafts & Things!
It's a valentines card called "The Kiss" :)
And....
I am going to be written up in our local paper!!
The guy e-mailed me on Christmas Eve.
He wants to set up a time to talk to me and get some pics :)
How cool is that...pretty wild I must say.
So, that's what's been up with me...what's up with you all?
Congrats on all the exciting news!
ReplyDeleteRoni! You REALLY are a STAR, now! How exciting! I'm glad I got your signature on a card before I have to pay big money for it...
ReplyDeleteI've been planning on sending you something~sick kids, then sick parents, then the Holidays took over and I have been naughty~ not a single card has been mailed... Happy New Year Cards will have to do. Just know I have been thinking of you.
Thanks so much Guys!!
ReplyDeleteLOL...Erin no worries ~ I know what it's like. My Christmas cards I think will be turned into St. Patrick's Day Cards by the time everything is wrapped up with the book!
Congrats to you for getting a load of work done on the book, for the card in the mag., and now you're gonna make the paper! WTG! I'm so glad I stumbled onto your blog several months ago.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you, Roni! Keep up the good work on the book and you DESERVE the recognition. Fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd, btw, I will be looking for that article, k? Post it here?

Congrats to ya, Roni!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Roni! It couldn't happen to a nicer person!
ReplyDeleteRoni - I have not been keeping up with your post - I am excited to hear you are writing a book - I am assuming it is craft and technique related - You mentioned step by step - please tell me it is really step by step .... I mean dimensions and everything? I need a lot of guidance, I get so frustrated with these step by steps that say fold paper to make card, add another paper, stamp add .... I need lots of hand holding!
ReplyDeletethis should be fun - I will have to keep up with your blog to get more details!
Congratulations
and good luck!
Sandra
