I thought I would share some more scrapbook lay-outs with you the next couple days. The first is one I made for the Ranger Design Team try-outs. You can't see it in the photo but each of the chipboard squares was individually hand tinted using Rangers Distress Inks. Next they were each embossed using UTEE. Gave them great dimension as well as a high gloss. The arrow & word Life were both inked using Adirondack Alcohol Inks.
Life...is like a rainbow
It takes both the sun and rain to make it's colors appear!
This layout was made for the winter 2007 CHA show. The background above the swish was made by applying Alcohol Inks to a transparency, flipped it over (so the inks were protected) and stamped stitches along the edges with Archival Ink & Fontwerks Stitch Stamps. The flowers and leaves were all stamped on Shrinky Dink material then Alcohol Inked after they had been heated. (NOTE - you don't want to ink your shrinky dinks before cooking them....the colors will become so intense that you won't be able to see the stamping.) And finally the chipboard letters for the word "Brother" were inked using Copper Metallic Mixative & over stamped with Archival Ink & Autumn Leaves flourish stamps.
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!!
Those are both great pages. :) I absolutely love the one with the AIs. But then again, I just love that technique. :)
