O.k., o.k., so the new year isn't here yet but my calendar project for the new year is! It's up on the Ranger homepage and will be used in a few publications this month as well :) I don't remember which ones she told me for sure so just be on the look out in case.
This is a way fun project and can be altered to fit whatever supplies you have on hand. I used mainly Stickles for this project but you can use liquid glue & regular glitter ~ it will be messy though or just acrylic paints; embossing powders or whatever else you have on hand and want to play with.
The shapes are all chipboard ~ some bought, some die-cut and others hand-cut. You can use up all those small chipboard scraps you've been saving for that "special" project :)
As for the actual calendar section, I stamped the calendar pages using a CTMH stamp that I bought several years ago. I don't believe they sell it anymore but there are loads of alternatives out there. If you don't want to take the time to actually stamp the entire calendar there are many programs available that allow you to print calendar pages in various styles and sizes.
For full instructions be sure to check out Rangers web-site and try your hand at creating a glittery start to your new year :)
Happy Stamping!!
COOL Calendar!! :D
ReplyDeleteLove it =)
ReplyDeleteHow fun, love the bright colors and sparkle. You mentioned the paint--Tim Holtz is doing a thing a day on his blog right now, and he mentioned using ep and heat embossing right on painted images! I had no idea you could do it with plain ol' paint! Between you and him, I'm getting so many ideas I could burst! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove that you're using cb "scraps," too, no one ever addresses those, and I've got tons of those! LOL
Love the Calendar.
ReplyDeleteBTW Nanette told me about your blog.
