What do a A Wolf and Mushroom....

have in common?

They are two of the new stamp images from Deep Red Stamps this month!
What were you thinkin'?
LOL!!!

I had to make a delivery for our business today and by the time I got home, did the dishes, cleaned up around the house and made supper I was too tired to work on the calendar tag for August so I decided to share a couple cards I made recently using ~ a wolf and some mushrooms :)

The first card is one I made with the new Wolf Portrait image...he's lovely isn't he?  I love his eyes, they look like they are staring right into your soul. The backgrounds are made using the Tree Rings (mat) and  Tree Bark (large bkg).

The next card is one that makes me long for summer!  The new Mushrooms rubber stamp is going to be one of my new favs'.  I can think of so many different ways to use this stamp I can't wait to use it more.  I thought it paired nicely with the Strawberry Journal Flourish and one of the butterflies from the Butterflies set.  The cool thing is you can color the mushroom tops any way you want...for this card I used my Gelly Roll pen to add the white dots to the top!  I so can't wait to pair these with my Club Scrap Gnomie stamp...he's going to look great with them.

So, there you have a couple cards to inspire...
I'll get back to the calendar on Monday.
No deliveries until possibly next Friday so we should be able to finish the calendar next week.
Hope you're all enjoying it as much as I am!

  1. The wolf fellow has remarkable all knowing eyes that seem to follow you. The little mushrooms are too cute. You are so right about the different ways that they can be used by simply changing their color and texture. I so want to see what they would look like with a little face made on the stem. I think they would look right at home with your little gnomes. Please post a picture when that card is finished.
It looks like another cold blast of weather is coming your way. Please stay warm
