Charm Swap Deadline Extended!!!

I am officially extending the Altered Charm Swap Deadline by one week due to very bad weather.

The new deadline will be MARCH 4th, 20011.

Why?  I don't know how the weather has been where you live but we have been having awful weather the last two weeks.  Our schools have been in session a total of 3 days in the past two weeks due to either ice or snow.  They are now calling for an additional 8+" of snow tonight through Saturday and possibly more Sunday night through Monday night depending on which news station you listen to.

Our mail has been delayed several of those days so I'm sure if it's slowing down mail delivery here it is slowing it down in other areas as well.

I don't want to anyone to miss it because of the weather and postal delays hence the extension.  And I really don't want to cause anyone to drive on bad roads or in nasty weather for fear of missing the deadline.

I know this means we'll all have to wait a bit longer to see/receive our charms but I want to ensure everyone who wants to play can.

Thanks for your understanding!

  1. Hi Roni, thanks for letting us know. I was getting worried, as I had been told at this end, in the UK, that my package should only take four working days to get to you. It is well over a week now. We have sunshine here, sorry about that, stay warm, Judith xx

  3. I loved the garter belt charm! Keep warm and have fun--sometimes being snowed in has its good side.

Our city's annual outdoor snow party/carnival starts this week. It is too cold for me to venture out far, but I will be crafting away in my studio - thinking happy springlike thoughts.

  4. I had thought I would write to you today and tell you that my charms wouldn't be there tomorrow because I haven't yet made or mailed them. Radiation treatments have been sapping my energy. This is my first ever charm swap and with the extended deadline I can make them this weekend and get them out to you on Monday after our 8-14 inches of snow finishes falling! Enjoy your weekend! 6. I live on the Central Oregon Coast and there's snow on the ground right up to the water's edge tonight! It's strange and oh-so-beautiful!!

I'm not much a charm maker but love everything I see! Maybe I'll practice more and play another time. So for all of you snow-covered crafters...stay warm, stay in, stay crafting!
