House Mouse Birthday Card

 Hello All..

Wanted to share this card I made for my youngest sons recent birthday....  He likes the House Mouse stamps and I have so much fun using them.  I used the Sprinkles stamp plus a little candle stamp from one of the HM Cubes.  Just added some extra sprinkles to cover up the bottom of the candle so it blends seamlessly.

I am entering this into the current House-Mouse & Friends Challenge #398 :)

  3. I love House Mouse stamps too but I am still not very good with coloring. Could you share what you used to color and any tips you have about shading?

    1. Thank you! I used Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brushes to color most of the image. They blend very nicely on Bristol cardstock (which is what I used for this image). I don't own Copic markers but I blend with the same 3 color techniques as they use...a light, medium and dark to get the colors I want. I then use a light neutral color to blend if need be (flesh tone, light pink, etc). I used Imagine Memento Markers for the "dots" to color the sprinkles but any bullet tip marker would work. HTH :)
