Cup o Love....

Happy Saturday!

The temps are finally above freezing, no wind chill warning, and it's supposed to be beautifully sunny today! Life is looking up.

Today I wanted to share a card I made using a FREE Digi Stamp from STAMPlorations.  Each month they offer up a selection of free digi stamps for you to use and enjoy. I only recently found out about it and thought I'd give them a try.

I chose this one and knew I wanted to turn it into a little shaker card. I sized and printed it on some nice Crafter's Companion cardstock then colored it using a combination of my Soho Urban Artists Colored Pencils and Prismacolor Colored Pencils. They blend very well together don't you think?

After I finished coloring I cut out the inside of the cup and created my little shaker.  I used metallic copper, gold and bronze sequins for my filler.

STAMPlorations is hosting a blog hop/challenge in conjunction with these lovelies and I thought I'd enter it into their challenge.

Hope you all have a lovely day!

  3. Roni, as I write this note to you, CA’s answer to your weather is pouring rain. I know there is absolutely no comparison to your record weather, but when I saw your beautiful composition, all I wanted was a delicious cup of tea/coffee/cocoa. Any one of those beverages would go perfect with the sound of rain on my open beam ceiling that does not have an attic.

Your shaker card design, using the coffee as “the shaker” was so clever!. I lover your floral design along
along with your blended colors technique. Thank you Roni for always sharing your creative best!
