A Month of Giveaways - Week 3

It's so much fun seeing what everyone's top 3 goodies were! The winner of that question (selected using random.org) is....

Denise Bryant!!!
Congrats Denise, please e-mail me your snail mail addy.

Die cutter and dies, Tonic paper cutter, and Scotch double stick tape are my go-to items!

Now for week #3's question.....

What techniques/products are on your
"To Learn/Do" list???

Well, my list continues to grow and grow. I finally have some really nice watercolors and papers but now time is the issue. I'd also like to try "Flow" painting but spaces is more the issue with that - I don't really have anyplace set up to let something like that sit for an extended period of time. I have so many 3-D projects I want to upcycle and alter; crochet - I have lots of little critters I want to make as well as more Bigfoot creatures; I'd love to learn calligraphy; and well...you can see I'll never be board or wanting for something to do - LOL!!

How about you???

I feel like my gelli plate needs attention, as I haven't used it in quite some time.
On my to do list, is to make a driftwood wreath for my cousin to give to a friend :)

  5. At this stage of my life I am content in knowing I shall never be able to learn or do or tackle all I want to. Now if only TIME came with products or techniques or patterns...then I might be able to accomplish a few more things. Hubby says, "Get off the computer and you could do more things you want to do!" Well!!! Happy Spring Bliss...

  6. Congrats to Denise! Oooh, there are way too many new techniques that I want to learn but my current one is using alcohol markers. I have been watching video tutorials to learn how to shade realistically, and to be able to color hair and skin. It's slow going for me because it's more precise than my usual approach. The other technique that interests me is adding texture with stencils and paste. So many things on my crafty to-do list.

  7. I keep wanting to try gelli plate printing. It is a little messy and my work area is not too big (and crowded with stuff). So it has held me back from trying it. I also just ordered the distress oxide and am looking forward to playing with them. Have a great day Roni!

  8. My list is way to loooooooog of all the things I would love to have more time to work with. And way too many new products to try out. Plus I have had a cricket machine and about 30 carriages to go with it and still have not learned it. Roni you make me look bad, with all the wonderful things you make. I have never heard of bleeding tissue but I'm sure if I saw it I'd want to learn its not learn it.

  9. I would like to try gelli printing but too pricey for my budget. have heard about making your own gelli plate but not sure that would work for me. another thing is a Misti again so pricey. But all is good I have stamps, papers, inks and pinterest/you tube to peak my interest and show me new techniques to try.

  11. Shaker cards, paper marbling, brush lettering, Copic coloring, etc, etc! My problem is that I want to try everything, but then get overwhelmed with supplies and my knowledge is spread too thin.

  12. Well, unfortunately, my learn to do list is longer than anything else I keep because I'm still stuck with the basics. I would love to learn how to use alcohol markers, water coloring, and coloring my stamped images in. I always seem to have trouble picking colors that look good together, and my colored images sometimes look like a kindergartener did it!
