2016 Watercolor Calendar Round Up & GiveAway!

If you were with me on Friday you know we finished up the watercolor calendar for 2016.  Below is a list of each calendar page and a link (in the month name) to each technique.

(Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom....)

So, did you enjoy this calendar?
Did you have a chance to try one or more technique?
What was your favorite technique?

Well now's the time to tell me what you thought!
Because to celebrate finishing the calendar I'm going to give away a set of my favorite watercolor paints - this set of 36 Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor Paints!

You may comment once if you tell me which was your favorite technique.

If you happened to try any of the techniques, you can post a link to your creation for another entry.  If you tried all 12, please feel free to post each link for up to 12 additional entries.  I only ask that you post current links relative to when I posted the calendar page - meaning no back-linking.

You have until 3-6-16 to post your comment
and any additional links to your projects/calendar pages.

  5. Hi, Roni. My favorites are the techniques for September and October. I completed two calendars which I have mailed away to friends and have a third one nearly finished. Will take some photos tomorrow and post them to my blog and post another message to you with a link to the blog. I'll put all 12 in one post to make it easier to see them all. Have loved this project! And thanks for the chance to win a really great prize! Anne

  6. It's a toss up for me on a favorite technique. I really love November's watercolor/alcohol technique and August's watercolor/salt technique with the white embossed images. I've used watercolor/salt before, but never thought to use white EP and then watercolor the images (so pretty!). I love the finished look of both these techniques! Thanks for sharing them; and for the opportunity to win the great watercolor paint set!

  7. I would have a hard time choosing between April and May. I really liked both of these. I have been "eyeballing" these watercolors for a while now. I keep telling myself I don't need them, but I remain unconvinced, lol. They are lovely!

  8. I love all watercolor techniques, some I'm more successful with than others, but all of them are so much fun. I would love to win a set of these watercolors. I've been looking at them for over a year, but had convinced myself that I didn't need them. I haven't created a calendar, but have used all of these techniques on cards at one point or another. Anyhow thanks for the inspiration, the reminder of techniques that I hadn't thought of and for sharing your lovely calendar with us!

  9. I absolutely loved this series. Made me want to upgrade my paints too! I wonder if the Kuretake Gansi paints are as vivid in person as they look on the screen?! Yummy looking colors! I loved the splatter paint, salt and rubbing alcohol spatter techniques the best! Then again those evergreen trees are gorg too! Heck, I can't pick just one!!! Oh yes, those fall leaves we're fab too! Sigh, I can't pick one, loved this series!

  12. Great techniques Roni! My favorite is the one for December, but it was hard to make a decision. I have played a little with each technique, but not finished a project yet. Thank you for the chance to win the watercolors. I only have pencils now.

  13. Hi, Roni. I finally got photos taken and posted to my blog of one of the calendars I made during this year's calendar project. I posted all twelve pages in one post to make it easier to view. You can find this at: http://notesfromthewoodshed.blogspot.com/2016/03/calendar-project-for-ink-stains-blog.html.
Thanks for doing this calendar project again this year and for sharing so many techniques for this one and for other projects throughout the year. I'm always learning something new from you! Even if I don't always write a comment, I'm checking in every day. I have two calendars done and one more to finish which I will use to send a page each month to a friend. Thanks for the chance to win those gorgeous watercolors. Anne
