Cafe' Vino StazOn Studio Glaze Card

I recently bought this fun Wine Sentiment from Unity Stamps and just had to make a card with it.  As I was looking through my stamps I found this Cafe Vin stamp from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps that paired perfectly with it.  To me the image has a stained glass look so I decided to roll with it. 

I started off by stamping with VersaMark then embossing the image on white cardstock.

I pulled out my StazOn Studio Glaze and filled in each area of the image. This glaze gives you a great stained glass look even on cardstock!  By varying the amount of glaze you can create lots of depth to an image without adding dimension.  It's really amazing IRL - it's just so hard to capture that depth in a photo.

You can see in this close up photo that in some areas I blended more than one color of the glaze to add another dimension to the image.

I went on to stamp the sentiment and since it already had a natural curve I decided to accentuate that with a bit of inking and a die.  I temporarily taped it down to my cardstock and inked it with similar colors that were used on the main image...

Of course - accidents do happen....  So rather than pitch it and start over I used it as an opportunity to embellish...which I did!

I used my Sponge Daubers and a few pencil erasers to add dots of ink here and there - and cover up my screw up!  Worked like a charm.  And here you have it....
