Passport To Fun Club Scrap Challenge - Envelope Albums & Give A Way!!

Yes, another challenge, I'm on a roll :)

On National Scrapbook Day Club Scrap issued a challenge to everyone - Passport to Fun Mini Album Challenge....  Complete our own version of the Passport to Fun mini envelope album that was featured at their 2012 retreat.  Well, I've never been to one of their retreats but I have made an envelope album before and they are lots of fun!

Here is the one I made last year for a friend....

CS - Wisteria 018

So I set about creating a couple more!

The first one I made uses papers from the Fire & Ice kit which had an Asian flair to it.  I didn't have many of the "Ice" (blues) papers left so I concentrated on the "Fire" (red/yellow/orange) colors.

I added two signatures in addition to pull out cards tucked into each envelope just as the instructions directed.  I added a few embellishments to each of the mini books which made this little book quite chunky.  I popped the stitches a bit on the envelopes but the book still looks great.
It's got LOTS of real estate for memories.

This next book was made using papers from the Hopes collection.
Instead of the signatures I added tuck in pages almost like cards into each envelope.

You can have them partially tucked in or all the way in each envie.  Either way you'll end up with almost as many places for photos as you do in the one above.

Here's the back of this album...room for more pics!

Now for the fun...
Would you like to win one of these mini albums?
Simply post a comment and you're in!

You have until 5-21-14 to post a comment to be entered to win!
Good Luck Everyone!!

  6. I started an envelope album - key word "started". I have vintage images set aside to use, now I just need to do it! I used my Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers to make my envelopes. I like that I'm not limited to the sizes of pre-made envelopes. I didn't think I needed the Board, but I'm finding that I use it a lot. It's really handy for these albums. Thanks for the chance to win one of yours. They're beautiful!!

  11. Was just yesterday thinking of making a envelope mini album. I've seen the albums but have never made one.

I love your albums. It is hard to pick which one I like the best as the Fire and Ice calls to me because of the bold, vivid colors. Hope calls to me because of all the wonderful patterns the collection has. If I were to win I would cherish one of these albums. In the mean time I think it is time to get crafty and inky and make one myself. Thanks for sharing and for the giveaway.
