Year of the Horse - January AP Challenge

It's time for the monthly Altered Page Artsociates Challenge!

January's theme is - Year of the Horse 

Well, I knew right away I wanted to make some Chinese lanterns using some of the fun collage images from Altered Pages to decorate them.

I found a couple patterns on line to make the lanterns which I traced out, painted, and embellished.  

They were so much fun to make!
