Wow!!!! Congrats what an amazing accomplishment and milestone for your fabulous blog! I always look forward to your tutorials, and I looked back and some of them and found this gem http://inkstainswithroni.blogspot.com/2008/07/risque-women-mini-mica-book.html yep, a mini mica book tutorial! Would love to dig up the supplies for this beauty! Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been checking out the fabulousness at ink stains for about a year and a half!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS! 2500 posts...that's a whole lot of typing. I visit nearly every day for two to three years now. Love everything I see here. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteJeanS
Congratulations. I visit this blog every day and love all of the tutorials
ReplyDeleteOh my, so many stamps! I have visited this blog for about 6 months now? I always come have a look when you post and then I usually have a nosy around whatever interests me in 'Inky Labels'! Roni I absolutely love your work, you inspire me so much I can't even begin to choose a favourite anything!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and happy holidays!
Hi Roni. I found your blog about 1 and a half years ago thru an OWH bloghop. Love your Club Scrap posts. Someday would like to be brave enough to enter your ATC swaps. You are crafty creative inspiration for me. Congratulations on your 2500th post. I look forward to seeing more of your creative designs. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Roni!! Man how could it be six years already?! Soon you'll be celebrating a decade! :D
ReplyDeleteI'll remind you I said so ;D
If my last comment was published and just not showing, you are welcome to delete it. I would have a hard time picking a favorite technique. Maybe using washers for charms and pendants. I have been following you blog for almost three years. It's the longest I've followed anyone. Thank you for all you share with us!
ReplyDeleteDing Ding Ding for Ink Stains!! Congrats!! My favorite technique was when you used scrap rubber to make a card. I think it's my favorite because I have a bag of scrap rubber and it was such an easy technique! I'm actually using that technique today for some Christmas cards. In case you haven't guessed, I've been around a long time :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on such an awesome blog achievement! I love your dominos and that was what originally drew me to your blog. Not sure how long I've been following...at least two years. Thanks for the chance to win some great goodies!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 6 year anniversary and your 2500th post! What a wonderful accomplishment!
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog about 2 - 3 years ago and what a happy accident it was! I have been hooked ever since! There are so many wonderful things to love about Ink Stains--the tutorials, product reviews, techniques, swaps, family stories, give-aways--but if I had to pick a favorite part it would be your altered art. You have a gift for taking the most common of objects and turning them into beautiful works of art. Two of my favorites are your steampunk "fat tin" and your mini mint tin necklace...love these!
Thank you for all the years of inspiration and for so generously sharing of yourself! Wishing you many more years to come!
WOW...a BIG congrats to you!!!! I love your blog and all of the tutorials, I cant narrow it down to just one method, but I just find such enjoyment in how you recycle and can use the simplest part of anything that should be tossed and turn it into an object of art!!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS AND THANK YOU! I love anything you do with alcohol inks- you have taught me soooo much!
ReplyDeleteI've been stamping and creating for 30 years now, and your blog is the Tops in showing techniques and being creative. You're not afraid to share with anyone on different ways in doing things. I love that about people who want to share and create with others and not snobby about it like a lot of others out there. I am purist and love to help and show others too.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog and great accomplishments!
well Roni...I am not sure how long I have visited here...but have only missed posts due to power outages, surgery and illness LOL...I luv you and your nifty ideas...have your book...hooked me on charms for sure...but in general u can answer most questions I have...but the best thing about Ink Stains? YOU! congrads....and hope for many more years of enjoyment....tho Im currently recovering from another surgery and can't craft for a few more months! Cher in MI
ReplyDeleteps...you have the best swaps too!
Wow 6 years is big enough but 2500 posts! That is incredible, congratulations. I think my favorite was the swap last spring that I joined, ATC's and Charms. So much fun! I have been hanging around for about a year now!
ReplyDeleteFaux Batik Technique from 12/10 (forgot the year already) is one of my favorite techs. I love it and have used it a number of times. I have also used lots of tips--the one about the scrap rubber making a stamp, the Mica book, the shrink plastic and the ones that gave tips on how to make charms and use the different tools have been especially helpful. I love your blog
ReplyDeletegood grief! I've been here since the beginning looks like. I knew it was a long time but I just looked to see when I first posted a comment (knew it was near the start) --because Im nutty like that. I first posted on Wednesday, November 28, 2007. WOW
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part is your techniques in general. Im only bout 6 months into mixed media and youve made it far less daunting. Youre the best
ReplyDeleteOh and ive been stalking your paage for about 2 months :)
ReplyDeleteI think I found you at least two years ago. I made my ATCs for the last swap with you from your calendar techniques. Loved them all. thanks as always for sharing.

ReplyDeleteHappy sixth birthday and congratulations on the 2500th post wow
I haven't been visiting you that long. I became a fan during the 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. I love your work. It totally amazes me. The 27th was my birthday too, but I'm a little older than 6..lol. Thanks so much for this chance to win some great products. Happy Birthday and congrats on all the success. I look forward to the next 2500 posts.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Roni! I have been stalking your blog for more than a year. Its incredibly difficult to choose a favorite. I loved the calendar series at the beginning of this year. You included so many cool techniques, and as always, your tutorials make it easy for anyone to play along. I also really enjoyed all of your Halloween projects this year.
ReplyDeleteWooHoo!! Congrats Roni!! I've been stalking you for a couple years now. You got me hooked on charms so went out bought your book. Found your Etsy stash enticing so helped myself to some of that. :) Love your alcohol ink tuts and of any charm related!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your tutorial on the Goosebumps Resist Covered Book.
ReplyDeleteHonestly; I can't say for sure just how long I have been receiving your newsletter...sorry.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 2500th post. I've been reading your blog for a couple of years I guess and I know I'll always learn something new. So difficult to choose one technique but I remember being really inspired by the hand sanitiser with alcohol inks projects. Looking forward to the next 6 years!!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS, on a job well done, keep them coming! I've been a follower for a few of those years and I always enjoy opening my Ink Stains email to see what you've come up with this time. Some of my favorite posts have been the Technique Calendar posts, and your wicked good Halloween count down posts each year, I love seeing whatever macabre art you come up with each year. Here's to another 2 million posts. TFS Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteA wonderful accomplishment. Congratulations. I enjoy reading all of the posts and learning something along the way.
ReplyDeleteI have learned so much from you, I can't pin it down to one tutorial or techniques, I think it's a blend do many. I've been looking at your creations for a while! Lissag123@verizon.net
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Roni! Quite a milestone. When I stumbled upon your blog, I had never heard of alcohol inks. So I guess my favorite thing about the blog is anything you do with alcohol inks. They have become the most used toy in my toybox, so thank you for that. I've been enjoying Ink Stains for about 3 years now. Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and thank you. For me it was the sessions with alcohol ink I like the most.
ReplyDeleteOMG Roni, way to go. That's massive. 2500 posts! Gosh. I love your blog. So glad I found you uhhh..... not sure when I found you! I have been blogging just over a year so it's probably about then cos I was blissfully unaware of blogland before then. How can I have missed it!!! Favourite technique? Well it seems you come up with a new wow every week, at least! so it's very difficult to pick a favourite. I loved the calendar you did last year and even tried a few of those ideas. Note to self to go back for a refresher course. I seem to remember hairspray and alcohol ink was a favourite. Thanks for such a great blog and sharing all these wonderful techniques. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGosh, I think I have been visiting your for about 4 years. I found you through one of my yahoo groups and have been getting your newsletters mailed to my in box in my email. How nice of you to celebrate by giving us gifts. Thanks for all of the sharing and fun projects. Congrats to you.

ReplyDeleteRoni,
ReplyDeleteI always look forward to your blog. It is such an uplifting segment of my day. I loved the tutorial using the hand sanitizer. I have it posted above my work station to try sometime soon. I've been a member from close to the start when we used to trade ATC's...Wild Card Traders.
Take care and keep the information coming.

ReplyDeleteWow, can't believe it's been 6 years!! I have been following Inkstains since the very beginning and have loved watching you grow! You are responsible for turning me on to the Tim Holtz ink blending tool AND Inkssentials white gel pen as well as any number of fabulous inky techniques! Congrats Roni on your milestone and looking forward to many more years of creative inspiration!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tutorials were some of the early basic ones showing us the ways to use alcohol inks and how to blend distress inks! Those tried and true techniques are ones that I use almost ever week!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Amazing.
ReplyDeleteDianeD
I bought your book in September 2009, I started following your blog shortly after. Both are my "go to" references for all things crafty! My favorite technique - at the moment - is your great ideas for shrink plastic projects. I've been doing projects with a kindergarten class. Congrats on your six years and 2500 posts!
ReplyDeleteHi Roni! Congratulations on your blog's success!!! I know you work hard at it! i think my favorite tutorial is your charm pins, one of which I won way back when... I'm not even sure how long I've been following your blog, at least 3 years...
ReplyDeleteWow, 2500 - that is SOMETHING! I read your blog via email so I don't get here to comment much, but I wanted to say I love the tutorial you did (can't remember what it was called) where you used masking tape on the card to section off places to ink, which made a mosaic effect. Very cool! I saved the instructions in my in-box for a long time before finally trying it. Super fun! Thanks for all you do; I always look forward to learning new ways to get my fingers inky!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a huge number. I cannot tell which tutorial I like, I look for them everywhere. I'm constantly trying out new things, and there are definitely some I still have to learn from here. Thanks so much for a chance to win some goodies too!
ReplyDeletewow! that's a lot of posts! congratulations!
ReplyDeleterecently you did a brilliance distress stain resist technique. haven't tried it, yet but plan to....it's sounds really interesting.

I found your blog about 1 and a half years ago thru a bloghop. Love your Club Scrap posts. Iv'e ordered produccts and the mystery boxes. This sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great accomplishment...six years! I am always so impressed that you can blog almost every day and continue to educate and inspire us! My favorite tutorials were the ones that show how to make ATC's and the altered Altoid tin swap that you did some years back. My mom hooked me on those little tins and ATC's and I still make the occasional ATC when I have a spare minute or two. I love that you show us that there is no right or wrong way...but just to have fun!
ReplyDeleteI am not exactly sure how long I've been reading your blog but I remember my Mom showing me tutorials and projects on your blog years ago. I would say I've been following you for at least 5 years!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Roni! I am inspired by ALL of your posts and techniques and have learned so much since I started following you a couple of years ago. No way to pick any favorites as they have all been educational.
ReplyDeleteWow, Roni, congrats! And an awesome giveaway! I'd be thrilled to win some items. Don't know how long I've been reading this blog. Long before I started blogging myself, so I guess somewhere medio 2008!
ReplyDeleteAnd what tutorial is best? That's impossible to choose, but I can tell you I just saved the one on christmas ornaments with bottlecaps the other night. Can't wait to try this myself, maybe for eastern.
I've been enjoying your blog for many years now, even before I started "subscribing" to it. Each morning I begin with learning and enjoying your skills!
ReplyDeleteI love using alcohol inks and you've taught me much!! I like the buttons at the bottom of your blog posts--Love it, More please, No, thanks. I'm a stamper, so I like your stamping tutorials as well as jewelry making tips and techniques. Thank you, Roni, and congrats on such a milestone!!
Nicky
My favorite technique is from way back in May, 2012---Crackled Glass Recycled Organizer. I still use this on many, many items.
ReplyDeleteI have been following you for as long as I can remember-I go back to the early posts, and think to myself-"I remember trying that!"
ReplyDeleteCongrats. I have been following your blog for 4 years. I love all the techniques and mix media art. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteman I don't even know how long I have been following you...a few years at least...I have been here for a couple of calander tutorials but I'm not sure....that is my favorite time...so many tutorials...some as easy as rubber bands on a brayer, and some more complex with embossing and piecing things together...I can't pick a favorite though...I guess I'll go with that rubber bands on a brayer one because its sticking out in my head right now! can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite project you did was the altered Halloween file folder, fall 2012. I used that technique on a series of thank you cards for the entire staff at my daughters school...then they used it for projects in their art classes!!
ReplyDeleteGoing on 2 years, I enjoy the ink tutorials and charm swaps. Thanks for all you do Roni!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog today, 12/5/13!! I haven't even scratched the surface in terms of investigating the mind blowing tricks and techniques you offer here. I think my favorite is the ink embossed cards, because that is something I can go right home and try today since I have the materials. I'd love to win something to increase my craft supplies so I can move my crafting in new and exciting directions.
ReplyDeleteWow Roni! Congrats to you for reaching such a milestone and thank you for your dedication to us! I've been a follower for about 4 years and can't count all the techniques I've learned from your blog and your book. I really enjoyed the gothic arch series
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your milestone, Roni!
ReplyDeleteI've been visiting for a couple of years anyway. Can't recall how I found you or exactly when... Love your posts and always pick up some great ideas here! My favorites are your pin swaps... one of these days, I'll sign up!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Roni!!! InkStains is the best website on the interwebs. I have viewed your site for years, I just recently became a member. I most especially love anything altered art~~it's just me. Thank you Roni for your creativity! and may you have a million more posts............
ReplyDeleteHuge congratulations on your 6 year blogaversary AND your 2500 posts!! I am fairly new to blogging, just started my own blog in June & yours is one of the first blogs I subscribed to :) So I have been following you for about 6 months. Favorite technique/tutorial? There is NO way I can choose - you have inspired me in so many ways & at least once a week I find a new "favorite" ~ blessings!
ReplyDeleteI've been blogging since 2005 and I still haven't hit 2500 posts. Here's a BIG congratulations to you.
ReplyDeleteI first found your blog about three years ago, when I was looking for a way to mask images. In fact, I went back and looked. It was May, 2010 that I first started visiting. As for my favorite technique, it's hard to say, since I have learned so much here, especially, since I'm not really a stamper. But the one that comes to mind is a post from this summer (?) when you altered a bingo card and turned it into a lovely Christmas card. It really stuck with me.
Roni, I've been coming to visit you almost every day since early 2009! I think I stopped by accidentally but I was so thrilled with your blog I have never left! There was no reason to go looking for more! Everything about your blog fulfilled what I was looking for! Oh I do visit a some other blogs, a lot of them are ones you've turned me on to, and enjoy them but no one has taught me as much as you! In all of these years I can't possibly pick a favorite or even several favorites! I've loved the yearly calendars! Learning what an IBT was and HOW to use it was a wonderful time, for sure!! And I can go back through the archives & still find something new to learn or review!
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you for being such a warm, kind person and friend! I want to thank you for all your generosity and not just with giveaways but your time and talents!! I look forward to another 6 years (hopefully!!).
Hugs,
Carol Metully
Congrats on your 6 year blog anniversary! Wow - that's a lot of posts :) I've been following your blog for 2+ years - can't pinpoint it excactly - but it was a Tim Holtz technique I think that I was lookin for that I found a tutorial on your blog - and I think it was when the distress stains were launched? :) Since then I've been back to see all the great tuts and inspiration you got going on - love your style and alterations :)
ReplyDeleteYou are an AMAZING inspiration! Thank you for willing to share your ideas, your creativity and your projects with us! Love the layering ideas with stamps and using different surfaces to make your creations :) I have been following for about a year and a half and wonder what I missed before that!
ReplyDeleteHi Roni,
ReplyDeleteI've been visiting your blog on and off for about 3 years. Love every one of your techniques and the way you describe each step. Keep up the good work :)
