I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend...
I've been thinking about new things to do/try on the blog and one thing that keeps coming up as I talk to people is they would like ideas on how to use older supplies in their stash.
So my question to you is what supplies would you like to see used, revamped, updated?
I'm trying to get a list together of things that would interest people so let's hear it...paper punches, staples, ribbons, fibers, ????
Everything, lol. Just kidding. I'd like to see vellum and acrylic shapes and images that are more difficult to adhere b/c it shows through. I really can't wait to see your ideas for gifts. That will certainly help w/ the scrap supply :)
ReplyDeleteHow about Pearl-Ex??
ReplyDeletewell luv any thing u show me girl...luv making cards so punches and diecut stuff would be nice..ribbon and buttons too.

ReplyDeleteRobin must have been reading my thoughts. I'm not sure if Pearl-ex is what I have, but it's the stuff by Luminart that needs a binder with it. I would like ways to use it without having to buy alum.
ReplyDeleteVellum, ink sprays, how about scrap paper? I bet we ALL have a ton of that???
ReplyDeleteTons of Punches that collect dust since I have my Cricut. Tons of shaped buttons and stickers left over too. I also have a bizillion scraps like everyone else lol
ReplyDeleteI would love to see some new and fresh ideas for stencils. I have a ton of them and never really used them very much.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to buy new tools-but they are so cool now. I donate my old unused stuff to Ronald McDonald house-but I have a bunch of twinkling pots of paint that I can't "get in to using"..actually lots of those paints I thought I'd use on stamps and don't-help!
ReplyDeleteFriendly Plastic. I bought some a while back but haven't used any for ages. Thanks
ReplyDeleteLOTS and lots of things!! ;) Seriously though, I have packs of memory glass slides lying around here (several sizes), and lots of vintage tickets, bottle caps, and trinkets and charms... aaaaghg, and I haven't used ANY of them! I don't even particularly like bottle caps...! I have no clue what to do with them!
ReplyDeleteWould love to see some tutorials or tips on all that stuff,

Let's see: vellum, ink sprays, standard punches, pearl-ex, metal hardware like ribbon holders and bookplates, templates, and the most important thing to me is how do I make the glitter stay on some of my papers that were pre glitterd. Is there a spray or what?
ReplyDeleteI remember your punchie days fondly. Those things are not cheap or easy to store (when you have too many) So I'd like a revival of the punchies post. :~P
ReplyDeleteYes, I too would be very interested in seeing new ideas on using old stuff. I'm not sure I have anything in particular, anything would be interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
e
Oh my gosh...this is just what I was thinking about recently...how to use up old supplies and make them look new! I would love to see ways to use up punched shapes!! Not the basic ones like large circles and squares, but the tiny ones that make good confetti but not much else! Also, how about flat stickers?? Yikes, I have so many of those and don't know what to do with them!
ReplyDeleteYou are a great inspiration. Love to see punches used in unusual ways or yes mica powders.
ReplyDeleteInk sprays and punches please oh and scraps lol
ReplyDeleteTo see any of the things already mentioned would be cool! I have lots of fibers..not sure why bought them but I did! I think I was going to use them to bind mini-albums..but them I didn't like the way I did it. I'm sure that any ideas on this would be very useful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for being so kind and generous with your time and talents.
What is Pearl-Ex?
ReplyDeleteSee, I need your help!!! :)
