O.k....I know I get excited about so many projects but this one is soooooo easy but the results are so cool!
All you need are a few heart stamps (I used a set from Inkadinkado & one from See D's), one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 white cardstock, Distress Inks and your Ink Blending Tool!!!
That's it!
Here's what you do....
Ink the piece of cardstock with a rainbow of Distress Inks and the Ink Blending Tool...\
Now, stamp a variety of hearts till the sheet is covered. NOW, if you don't have any heart stamps, no worries...simply cut strips from the cardstock then cut a variety of hearts in different sizes!
After you're all done stamping it's time to cut them all out - lol!! This doesn't take nearly as long as it sounds. You'll be done in no time at all!
TIP: If you've got stamped hearts that have scallops along the edges you can use a pair of tiny scallop deco scissors to cut them out! Yes, it's cheating but it's WAY faster and sure beats cutting around each little scallop!
After you have all the hearts cut out ~ it's time to create!
Here is a quick and easy Valentines Day card idea. I made one using white background and another with a black background just so you can see the difference....
and here are several more ideas for Valentines Day cards using up the rest of the hearts...
So there you go...a fun, quick and easy way to create LOADS of Valentine's Day cards with only a minimal amount of supplies!
These turned out really nice. So easy too. Thanks Roni!

ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! What a super idea, you genius! First, just color the cardstock with the Distress inks makes for a pretty background for a card. But then you went further. And the cards you made are so sweet. Thank you for the great tutorial.
