Pearly Crystal Examples

Hi Guys!

I hope you've all had a wonderful Tuesday...it was a bit scary here earlier. We had some really nasty storms roll through ~ thunder, lightening, the works. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to thunderstorms. It's all over now and the sun is setting beautifully as I type!

Are you all going to look for the Perseid meteor shower tonite? It's supposed to be beautiful! I'm going to try to check it out and see what I can see. Hopefully all the lingering clouds will have moved on so the sky is clear.

Tomorrow we're hitting the State Fair :) I can't wait! I am excited ~ the animals, sights, sounds, GREAT FOOD - lol!! We go each year ~ it sort of marks the end of summer since Bob will start school usually the following week :( He's going to be a Junior this year. I'm not ready for him to go back ~ we have too much fun together and he's growing up so fast. He's so adult ~ I know it's a good thing but he's my baby. It sounds silly but I'm sure some of you know what I mean.

Anyway, I've got a few examples of the Pearly Crystal technique...

This example was made on black cardstock just as I demonstrated yesterday. I wish I could show you how shimmery it is in person. It looks so flat in the photo but the colors just pop IRL.

For this example I used the back side of some teal Bazzill cardstock.

The butterfly is also the back of some Bazzill cs.

The final example is my favorite... it's made using a large background stamp I found at Hobby Lobby. I used several metallic colors of Perfect Pearls and it just looks amazing in person. I haven't finished the card because I'm not sure what occasion I want to use it for.

So there you go...hope this little bit of inspiration nudges you to dust off your Perfect Pearls and give it a try!

I'll be back on Thursday with another Perfect Pearls technique that I hope you'll enjoy :)

Till then friends ~ stay crafty.
