Good Luck Everyone!!!
I wish I had a picture of my grandpa. Your picture brings back so many wonderful memories about my childhood with my grandparents.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm the first to post. My favorite piece of art would have to be a mini album I made about my trip to Florida with my dh. I don't have any pics online yet, unfortunately.
Great question, I look forward to seeing what everyone else has to share.
My favorite piece that i've created is by far an album i made for my first granddaughter. it contains pictures of all her relatives with pictures of them and her together. now that her great grandmother has passed away, it is something to be truly treasured.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite project is a scrapbook canvas project I did in 2005. It was photos of our cruise. It's hanging in my craft room and I still compliments on it.
ReplyDeleteMy fav piece of work is this!

I made it for my friend Andrea, it took me months!!! But, best of all when she opened it she said it made her cry, in a good way of course!
I love to go back and look over scrapbook pages that I have done~one of the few things this Mama does that STAYS done! It makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing I have made is a card that was created for a challenge which had to include a quotation. I loved this card when it was finished even tho in all honesty I feel like it turned out so well more by luck than judgment. Anyhow if anyone wants to take a peek here is My Card
ReplyDeletemy favorite is the girl and her kitty painting i did in suzi blu's online class. im really proud of it:

Gorgeous work, Phree and all. I love to see the amazing talent here!
ReplyDeleteI just did an art journal after an unspeakable family tragedy in August (that I am still living). It is really organic and came from my deepest, most authentic inner self. In fact, it was mostly unconscious b/c I didn't know what I was creating until I completed the last page. I am going to submit it to Stampington & Co. so I can't show pics yet, but cross your fingers that it gets published by them in one of their awesome publications some day.
Oh Roni - can you post a pic of the CTMH Ritzy Ribbon stamp set if you get a minute? I Googled it, but can't find a pic of what the set looks like.
ReplyDelete(I'm anal, but you already know that, right??? *smile)
Thanks!
Love the picture with the frame you posted! I adore pictures of my ancestors.
ReplyDeleteOh I just adore that picture frame!!!! My favorite project is the mini album I'm working on about my baby and the time before his death. It's a hard one to do so it's taking me a while.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... I can't decide. Recently I had learn how to make a mini-pop up album. It contains all of my daughter's favourite stuff. And another one would be a simple LO I made during a cropping session. It is the only picture of my maternal granddad which I believe no has it.

Happy Birthday again!
My favourite piece of art that I created is an altered canvas. Still have it hanging up in my house. I also love all my scrapbook pages that I've done of my 2 daughters.

Fantastic picture of your Grandpa, The favourite thing I have made is the first Scrapbook album I made for my daughter. Her dad passed away and I made her a keepsake album with just photos of the two of them together from her baby pictures up until present day. She loves it and often has her nose in it when she wants to stroll down memory lane.
ReplyDeleteAlthough my work has improved alot since I started it always reminds me that it was this project that got me started in this wonderful hobby. Jaqi
My favorite creation so far (aside from my two daughters) is a double gothic arch I did with photos of my great-grandma and her two sisters (I posted a photo of it on the RangerInkLink group).
ReplyDeleteI think the most fav. thing I've ever done is a scrapbook of me and my sweetie. I did one page of him at birth and on the opposite page was me at birth. I did this all the way up to the time we were 17. It is so fun to look through and see what we each looked liked at the same age!
ReplyDeleteThis piece isn't one that is the most visually pleasing to me, but it let me say things that were going unsaid in my life: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/92059/view/1085733/-1/20/1.html
ReplyDeleteIt is a picture of my grandmother and my daughter, who born 100 years and 355 days after my grandmother. She was the only thing that my grandmother really responded to during her last weeks in hospice care.
I actually came to comment just to say how much I liked the colors and design of the frame on your grandfather's picture. It is lovely.
WOW, I am absolutely LOVE reading about seeing everyones fav. projects!! VERY cool :)
ReplyDeleteI too, wished I've had a pic of my grandpa, he passed away before I was given birth...
ReplyDeleteTill day, one of my most favourite piece of art, got to be the "LOVE" ATC that is with the handstamped butterfly and embossed title as shown in this link: http://ckchai.blogspot.com/2008/08/recent-works.html
TFL!
My favorite creation of my own (so far) is a chipboard album I made for my best girlfriend who adopted a baby girl from Taiwan.
ReplyDeleteThe book is in the shape of an Asian take-out container, with ribbons for the handles. The parents want to keep the baby in touch with her Asian heritage, and besides, it's dang cute!
I don't have a picture of it but my favorite project is an altered tin I made for my mother with pictures of my girls in it. It was so fun and she carries it in her purse with her every day!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite project I've done is a poster sized collage of my family. Started with a younger then a recent pic of my parents, added ton of photos of my siblings, then all the grandkids. Turned out real cute. Had fun going thru all mom's pics
ReplyDeleteThe photo of your grandpa is wonderful. So, who's the little boy peeking over the stove in it??!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say that my favorite project was probably the scrapbook album that I made my Mom of the trip to Hawaii she treated all her kids and grandkids to. I got everyone to write a thank you note to her, and added it to the album, along with quotes from everyone on their favorite parts of the trip, funny things they remembered etc. I never even scrapped the trip myself, because by the end of that project I was sick of Hawaii photos! LOL!
My favorite project was my wedding thank you cards. I stamped the main image and sentiment and used cardstock and paint chip samples! I made 75 thank you cards...all by hand.
