Flower Soft Part II - Rubber Stamps

Hey Everyone! Part II of my feature on Flower Soft comin' at ya'!! I know I said this week was going to feature the Card Toppers and Rubber Stamps BUT there are just too many fun things to share....I ended up with over 50 photos of these two items!!! Sooooo, I'm going to share the rubber stamps today. Tomorrow I'll be sharing the Card Toppers as well as a combination project using the stems I made last week, rubber stamps and a few of the toppers! I hope you enjoy it all!!

Before I get to the projects I want to share the Flower Soft Package that one lucky winner will win next Saturday September 13th! It contains a sample of each of the 9 colors of Flower Soft Petals (that I have), Flower Soft Wires (to make several stems); Adhesive; Card Toppers & Flower Pots in various styles and the Lampost set of Rubber Stamps! On to the show....

Supplies:

Flower Soft Petals

Flower Soft Adhesive

Flower Soft Rubber Stamps - Country Bicycle; Country Window; Wishing Well

Cardstock

Staedtler Watercolor Pencils

Posh Metallic Accent Pen - Gold - Ranger

Archival Inks - Ranger

Distress Inks - Ranger

Sepia Accents - Ranger

Matte Accents - Ranger

Water Brush (filled with water)

Instructions:

1. Stamp the images and sentiments onto cardstock using Archival Inks.

2. Color images using preferred medium. For the following examples I used the watercolor pencils & waterbrush.



NOTE - I will be sharing the photos of applying Flower Soft Petals to one of the sentiments that will be used on the finished product. All of the images and sentiments were made following the exact same steps layering adhesive and Flower Soft Petals.

3. (for the sentiment) Cut the sentiment out of the cardstock and apply Posh Accent Pen around the outside edges. You must preform this step now as it would be impossible to do so after the Flower Soft Petals have been applied (the Petals partially cover the gold edging).



4. Apply dots of Flower Soft Adhesive in various places on your image.



5. Sprinkle the Flower Soft Petals over the adhesive/image. I choose to start with Green for the foliage but you can start with whatever color you choose.



6. When you are satisfied with the coverage, shake off excess Flower Soft Petals over the bowl. Note - It takes a very small amount of Flower Soft Petals to actually cover nicely! It's very economical (which I love!!).

7. You may stop here or if additional colors of Flower Soft Petals are desired continue adding additional dots of Flower Soft Adhesive and Flower Soft Petals until you feel you are finished.

Now you may add additional embellishments at this point or cut and mount your images as desired.

On the Wishing Well example, I added Sepia Accents to the roof of the well in various areas to enhance the wood and give it a bit of dimension. I also applied Matte Accents around the edges of the stones at the base of the wishing well.
