Ink Stained Sketch #1

Last week I shared with you the first Ink Stained Sketch that could be altered to be used on scrapbook pages, ATC's, Skinny's as well as cards. Every other week I will share a new sketch and the following week I'll post ideas using that sketch. If you play along and would like to share your creation here just send me the link or image and I'll post it right along with the sketch and the goodies I come up with.

To refresh your memory, here is the first Ink Stained Sketch....

  1. Cool - I love them all!

And, this is good. I was going to play along this week, but honestly - work got in the way of the important stuff (*grin*) like creating art. But I was thinking about it. I was thinking more rigidly, though, so it's good to see how you interpreted the sketch for reference. I see now that I can be a bit more flexible in how I place the elements for each sketch. I will play along on the next one, k?

  2. One more question, Roni. What do you DO with all of that cool art you make for the blog and for challenges and stuff? Do you keep it, give it away, donate it, give it to mom (Dixie) to put up on her fridge door with magnets? I bet you have just a TON of cool cards and projects.

  3. I'm was also thinking like Phinny, with a more rigid idea of how the sketch would work! I just LOVE the card where you used a flower for the main image with the sentiment attached!
And Mindy's doggie card is adorable! Love that stamp image!

  4. Phinny - Yeah, isn't it a shame when work does such a thing ;) Yes, I thought it would be a good idea to show the variation. It opens the sketches up to a wider interpretation giving a bit more freedom when you work with them.

It's fine to play along whenever you can!! Even if it's after the original sketch has been posted I'll still share em with everyone :) I know things get in the way of the fun stuff so I'm flexible!

What do I do with it all...well, right now it's really piling up.

Before when I was on the Ranger DT I was creating 10-15 projects a month...mostly cards. The things Ranger didn't use I'd submit or set aside if I made them as gifts (which I often made things for Ranger with specific people in mind.) So it wasn't too bad, things were moving out almost as fast as I made them.

NOW, it's a bit more difficult. I'm making things at such a fast pace (1-5 projects for each post I write.) and I'm doing them daily. So now I have no time off to submit, send, etc. They just sit here in a HUGE pile! Right now I have a pile of cards I've made that's about 1 1/2' high...altered projects piling up as well but they are scattered in every nook & cranny... Getting a bit dangerous in here with my mountains of stuff!

I had thought about giving some of it away on here but didn't know if anyone would be interested.
