Usually if we get anything it's ice storms; they snarl up traffic for days. Especially the huge bridges all around the D/FW area; it can be pretty treacherous to drive. I used to venture out in it, but now I just stay home with the kids, binge watch on Netflix, and drink lots of homemade hot cocoa. :)

Hope you and your family have a safe and blessed Thanksgiving, Roni. :)TXMesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11529111200504502698noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3595954191454851841.post-60556556750029571472015-11-24T06:47:02.554-05:002015-11-24T06:47:02.554-05:00Be safe, I hope you don't have a repeat of las...Be safe, I hope you don't have a repeat of last year. It is beautiful and a wonderful time to be indoors and crafting up a storm. I only lived in snow for 15 years but I won't miss it for awhile. Your dogs sound adorable. Having the chance to enjoy the seasons, especially winter, has to be one of the things that I truly miss from my east coast childhood days. Right now in California, we are preparing for our El Nino event that will put an end to our 7+ years of drought! We are already seeing beginning signs and patterns of the El Niño with areas experiencing some rain every week and our local mountains having an early snowpack. Our water comes from our snowpack. Well Roni, my family may not have a white Thanksgiving, but we are going to have a wet and cold Thanksgiving. For a girl who longs for snow, rain is the next best thing!
Wishing Roni, her family, and her family of bloggers a happy and healthy Thanksgiving! If you do not celebrate Thanksgiving, may you have the chance to celebrate the joy of peace and love with your family!Kathleen Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00055963073183371696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3595954191454851841.post-70944625201676930112015-11-23T03:36:27.901-05:002015-11-23T03:36:27.901-05:00We got the same snow! 7+ inches and it was heavy....We got the same snow! 7+ inches and it was heavy.
