CAS Aquatic Vellum...

If you've been visiting for a bit you'll know I'm trying to work on Clean and Simple style cards.  I find them to be very difficult so I decided that I was going to join in some of the CAS challenges out there and try to get over my fear of white space.

Today's card actually fits into 2 challenges - CAS on Sunday Challenge #65 - Vellum as well as CASology: Week 159 - Aquatic.  This card was particularly challenging for me because I like layers...lots of them but the whole idea behind CAS is minimal layers with lots of white space.

I started off by stamping the fishing pole and lure on the white card base then I stamped the pike and sentiment on the strip of printed vellum.  I like how it turned out but I was very tempted to add something to cover up all that white!
