Brusho Colour Crystals - PPP Watercolor Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello all! Welcome welcome!  I was having so much fun playing with my watercolors I decided to share another post on the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Hop...  Today it's all about Brusho Color Crystals and Color Burst Powder.  This is a fun wild kind of watercolor that offers up a surprise every single time!  That's part of the reason I love it so.

Be sure to check out all of the fun creations offered up by an army of watercolor artists -

The first card was made using a variety of Color Burst Powders.  The vibrant colors are amazing!  I die-cut an oval from masking paper, placed it on my watercolor paper, shook on the powders then spritzed away.  Fun and easy but oh the results!  The stamp is from Unity.

This card was created using Brusho Colour Crystals and has a bit of a twist to it.  The cardstock I used to create this card was actually just a piece of cardstock I used to wipe off excess Iridescent Blue Creative Medium from my trowel while working on a MM project.  I just smeared it around and let it dry.  Well, when I was looking for papers to play with I saw this and figured why not.  Well I'm glad I grabbed it because while it's not all that visible in the photo the effect of the Brusho Color Crystals over the Iridescent CM is amazing.  It's like the colors are lit from below when you turn it this way and that.  I'm going to be doing more of this ~ on purpose next time!  All of the stamps are Unity.

Finally this card was made by embossing the fun flower design onto cardstock then sprinkling Yellow, Rose Red and Orange Brusho Colour Crystals over the cardstock.  Love the fun results.  All stamps are ClubScrap.com.

  4. I'm so glad you included Brushos. Many of my British friends are using them regularly, but I had not found them in the States until you told where you got yours. They are so incredible, I'm tempted to get the 12 pack. You did a fantastic job with yours.
