Spring Time on the Farm Card, Flowers, a Plaque & more!

Well, it has finally stopped raining here in Indiana and the temps are back into the 60's & 70's.  After a week or so in the 40's it feels like Heaven out there.  Since it finally FEELS like Spring again I thought it would be nice to share Spring / Farm inspired card!

and here are a couple pictures of my flowers blooming out at the farm.
Normally they bloom quite a bit earlier but it's been very cold, wet and rainy here so far in May.  Everything seems to be behind by about 3 weeks or so.

I also wanted to share a plaque I made for Mom for Mother's Day....
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used a variety of Distress Stains to color it.

One more thing before I go...
Do you remember I made a couple envelope albums for Club Scraps "Passport to Fun" Challenge?
WELL I WON!!  How fun is that.
I never win anything so this was such a nice surprise :)

Tomorrow per your request I'll be sharing a few more cards & tags using Gelli Plate monoprints.
Seems that most everyone uses the monoprints for Art Journals and you'd like to see more cards...your wish is my command :)

Later this week I have a really fun Steampunk project for you using Altered Trading Blocks made using the Eileen Hull Block Dies from Sizzix.

  1. Congrats on your win! I love your card and plaque, both very pretty. Love the background behind the windmill and the colored vases are gorgeous!!! Our flowers are way behind here too. Even my daffies have not bloomed yet. I even started a fire in the wood stove yesterday,LOL.

  2. YAH!!! Congratulations of wining with your mini Envelope Albums! I love them and obviously so did everyone else! Both of your cards are wonderful!
The flowers in our area in Montana are slow this year too. With temps in -22 for a week or so this winter it's no wonder. Dee in N.H...I had to start a fire Sunday as well. It won't be long tho and our temps will be in the upper 90's....UGH! On those days I'll be crafting INSIDE with the air on!
