31 Days of Halloween - Day 11 - Never Leave Home without It!

Smeared & Smudged
31 Days of Halloween
Day 11

Just what every Witch in the know needs...

Acme's
No. 13 Travel
Potion Kit

I had so much fun making this kit.  It's actually a vintage watchmakers vial parts box.

I stamped the front with various stamps...the witch and grave stones are from Third Coast Rubber Stamps; the poison, spider, skull & cross bones are all Alpha Stamps; the Danger sign (shown in the next photo on the spine is by Crafty Individuals.

The inside slots were made from chipboard so I was able to remove a few of the dividers to make the larger areas where the spare bones are kept...  The rest of the little bottles are tiny watchmaker parts vials - just a bit over 1" tall.

Each of the vials is filled with something different...depending on what is called for.  For example the Moth Dust is white embossing powder; the roots are twine, the crushed acorn is dry walnut stain crystals; etc.

It was lots of fun to make :)
Be sure to check out the other Halloween Hoppers
on the list in the right hand column.

And P.S. Is Third Coast EVER going to be up and running again. They keep postponing their reopening, and it feels like they're never coming back!
