Ink the Pink - Steampunk

Someone told me recently they didn't like Steampunk because it was all so dark... 

 

Well, yes much of it is but it doesn't have to be...you can make Steampunk whatever you want. 

 

And to prove my point.....

 

Beautiful things....

 

Don't ya just love the pink foil gears? 

It's hard to get a nice picture of them but they are light pink and a deeper pink.

She was stamped on white cardstock, colored using Spectrum Noir markers and she's also got fruit punch and cotton candy Stickle highlights.  She was then fussy cut and affixed to the card. 

 The background was stamped using Rose Madder Archival Ink. 

I also used Rose Madder to stamp the sentiment then over stamped with Black Archival ink.

 

So there you go...

Steampunk can be whatever YOU want to make it :)
