Rubber Stamp Madness - Steampunk Goodness!

Hey everyone!

Some of you that subscribe to Rubber Stamp Madness may have already noticed but I wanted to share some fun news...

Their main theme for the summer issue is Steampunk!

But, that's not the best part....

My Planes & Trains Gothic Arch Collage is featured on page #44!!!

Since I subscribe I rec'd 2 issues...my normal subscription issue and an artist copy for the publication.  I don't need two so I thought I'd share my extra copy with you!

To be entered in the contest, simply tell me if you have made a Steampunk themed project (card, atc, gothic arch, etc.) and if you'd like you can share a link if it's posted on-line.

You have until 5-11-12 to post your comment to be entered to win!

Good Luck Everyone!!

  1. Congratulations Roni! That is so awesome. It is not surprising however... your designs are always so clever and creative. Of course they would feature your work!

  2. Congrats on having your card published Roni! It is very exciting to see it in print in a magazine, isn't it? I used to subscribe to RSM for many years and even had a few things published way back when... I have never tried Steampunk myself, but the style is fun! Thanks for the chance to win a copy of RSM. It's still one of my favorite magazines!

  9. A big congrats to you Roni! I haven't read a Rubber Stamp Madness issue in years but your work is SO perfect for it!! As for me and Steampunk, haven't done anything yet but have been rummaging through my stamps to see what I can come up with. Maybe start small, with an ATC?!

I have made some tags and a card or two that were Steampunk themed. I have a shadowbox and a canvas project in the works.

  11. Steampunk is terrific for men's cards! I have been working with Steampunk when I discovered them in a Paperwishes catalog and website. You can make such wonderful collages. I just have a blast working with Steampunk. Everyone should give it a try.

  12. Roni, congratulations on being published again! I love Steampunk, but haven't done any of that style yet. I am still trying to get comfortable with "vintage!" Steampunk is next! ;-)

  13. Congrats on being included in the magazine! I have done many Steampunk themed Projects, but my favorite was the Steampunk Embroidered Ornaments for Christmas that I made for my Daughter. I used designs from Urban Threads. I have pics, but not online.

  14. Congrat on your publication!!!! That is so awesome and you have to floating on clouds. You gotta tell everybody if your like me!!!
I have made a Collage little suitcase using modpodge! Used a travel theme and went to town putting all kinds of "stuff" stamps, postcards, etc. on it. More mod podge then some more. I don't have a picture of it; because I gave it as a gift to someone who really appreciated it. They are awesome to make and you can let your mind kinda run wild. Thanks for the contest.
Oh- inside of it I put our picture of the trip that we went on. Kinda like a little scrapbook. Of course, couldn't put all of the pictures. Thanks and happy saturday.

  15. Woot woot!~!! Congrats Roni on being published! You are one the most talented ladies I've had the pleasure to know (at least on your blog)!! I've learned so much from you and cherish all of it! I haven't made anything Steampunk. I love to look at it but it's just not my style! But I'm a big rubber stamper and would LOVE to win. I'd want it signed of course..that would be my "trophy" magazine!! Can't wait to see more!
