My Mixed Elements Collage

This morning I posted a link to the Mixed Elements Challenge over at Altered Pages....

The challenge is to use Metal, Ink and Paper in a collage.

Well, here is what I came up with....

It Started With a Kiss....
I used a variety of inks paired with stamps or just to add color to the main photo and around the edges of the game board.  The background paper as well as the "Follow Your Bliss", "Happiness" and "Go Slow" stickers are all from the Glitz line of paper called Laced with Grace.   The vintage photo images, the butterflies, eggs and nest are all Altered Pages collage sheet images.  And the stamps are all from StampersBest.

The three images along the side in the film strip are image transfers onto metal sheets.

Here is a close up of the 3 transfer images....  It's hard to get a good photo of the top image since it was a lighter image to start with and so much of the gold background shows through.  The flash just wants to wash it out every time.

Anyway, that's my entry for this very fun challenge!
Now, it's your turn!!

  3. Roni, such a clever use of the metal, incorporating the images into it. The entire piece is wonderful!
