Thanksgiving Inspiration....

WHERE does the time go?!?!?!

Last week when I posted that I would continue with the embossing info I didn't realize that it was going to be Thanksgiving this week!!!  Goodness, time is just flying by.  I can't believe we only have a few more weeks left in 2011.  It makes my mind spin.

Also, this coming Sunday Ink Stains turns 4 years old!  I have a little something I've got planned for that as well so I might get back to the embossing this week...or it might be next week ;)  We'll just have to see how the time goes.

These first two projects are embossing related however...

I stamped the main image with embossing ink and used the Stamp n Bond embossing powder.  That's the ep that turns into glue once it's heated.  After I heated it I covered it with Sepp Leafing Flakes.  One of the beautiful mix of colors they offer.

The main image stamp is Third Coast Rubber Stamps and the sentiment is Just For Fun Rubber Stamps.

3C - Copper Waves of Grain

Next is a tag I created using my "faux suede" embossing technique that I will share very soon.  It's a super way to give black cardstock a faux suede finish in a matter of minutes!

These stamps are also Third Coast Rubber Stamps
3C - Turkey Tag

Finally, this is just a fun Thanksgiving card.  I just LOVE the adorable little dragon babies @ 3C.  He's such a sweetie isn't he?

3C - Pilgrim Delsey

So, all you US folks out there celebrating Thanksgiving this week....
What good foods do you have in store for yourself (and possibly others) this week?
We are doing the traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings not one but 3x's
(and I'm cookin' 2 of those turkeys).  I think by Sunday I'm going to be sick of turkey - LOL!!
